  1. That makes it worth it...or at least for me:) Does it taste good or is it just ok?
  2. Looking forward to this arrival[emoji2][emoji39]
  3. You'll feel better when home. I know I did. Take your pain meds as needed and no matter how you feel push yourself to walk. I know it seems minor but it's major in the big scheme of things because those gas pains can get bad...so walk it out Be sure to Celebrate all the small victories from the start to keep you motivated and focused. Each week is progress as you will soon discover. Congrats!
  4. Thank you[emoji4] I can believe that, as this is the missing piece to my puzzle. Can't wait! Will do and you too! Thanks and you too[emoji120]?
  5. Anyone in Charlotte, NC or really close?
  6. Going to try it out. I like hazelnut too. Thanks a bunch!
  7. This is to be expected. I think we all have buyers remorse periodically in the beginning. I can relate. My surgery was 12/1/16 and I have thought it a handful of times but then I remind myself of the progress so far, others results and remind myself I will get there in time because each month gets better. I'm now able to eat solid foods and it felt like this day would never come! lbs My sister had the surgery 4 years ago and looks amazing plus feels great. We too will do great!!!
  8. Beautiful! Happy for you and happy to hear this...looking forward to feeling the same soon
  9. Set better eating goals for yourself now, but START and start small so you set yourself up for success. If you don't drink protein shakes start now so you start dropping some of the weight before you start your liver reduction diet. It will make it easier when you do. Try Premier Protein shakes they are the highest in protein. I had to play the waiting game to but can't believe I'm on the other side! Soon you will be too!
  10. Thank you! So ordering this too as I love hot cocoa had some of that sugar free Swiss miss last night and was so like I miss the regular[emoji5] Any particular pudding better than the other? Im a chocolate a holic[emoji1]lbs Thanks again for your feedback!
  11. First I heard and want to be proactive. Where do you buy it? Thx
  12. Definitely try the Amaretto Cappuccino![emoji39] I went ahead and looked at the reviews posted on each product listed and try to gauge that way. I'm placing my order today for about 5-6 different items. So fingers crossed[emoji5]
  13. Absolutely and thanks for the reminder![emoji4]
  14. Same here and thanks everyone for the reminders. I had my GB on 12/1 so still a work in progress[emoji5]
  15. Same for me too as per the the two above. It will change.
  16. Wondering what products you have ordered off here and liked or disliked? I ordered the Amaretto Cappuccino and love it! However, didn't care for Blueberry pancakes so much. Looking to try out a few more products. So wondering what you may have enjoyed from here? Thanks![emoji4]
  17. Excellent advice and agreed! I wish I would have given it up before. So it was a bit of a challenge on the back end but the good news is that you can do decaf coffee though I had never been a fan previously but learned to appreciate it after. Eventually my NUT said I could have ONE cup of regular coffee a day ONLY because I was meeting my liquid goal DAILY, but I never did one per day more like one per week and now I rarely do coffee but more tea's (LOVE Teavana!!! My treat:)
  18. Loved this! Thank you so much for writing this and sharing everything. You've given me hope that my happy place will come:) My surgery was 12/1 so you have an idea of where I'm at with everything. Can't wait to try your recipes! All the best to you on your continued journey!!!
  19. I had my GB surgery 12/1 so I'm curious...since having your surgery have you been 90-95% consistent/committed to taking your vitamins 6 times per day? Or is your body rejecting absorbing those nutrients regardless if you provide the nutrients or not?
  20. Sounds good and will have to try that! Thx
  21. So I was scheduled to see my doctor today to get the clearance to solids. However, I'm still sick with this virus/cold and feeling bad. Plus his office is 2 hours away and hubby didn't want me on the road feeling bad to unpredictable. I just feel bummed was SO looking forward to this for awhile now. It's almost like graduating[emoji5] So would appreciate you allowing me to live vicariously through you on this valentines day please[emoji4] What were you told by your doctor at your 3 month appointment? Any advice for me?
  22. Had to comment on the "gonna hurt myself" I told the hubby it feels like I'm giving birth to boo boo these days[emoji23]
  23. Congrats on your surgery date! You may not want to hear it but I would suggest starting the liver reduction diet early. Meaning replacing Breakfast and lunch with Protein shakes. It will be hard but you can do it! Plus they have so many awesome varieties in the Atkins brand and premier is good too. All the best!
