Hi everyone! I guess I'll share a little about me... I'm 29, I'm married for the second time and we have a 14 month old that I'm running after 100% of the time when we're at home. I have PCOS and I'm diabetic. My current weight is 305 from my last doctor visit. I decided on the RNY procedure and I'm more excited than anything!! I had my consult on the last day in November, met with the psychiatrist, had my panel of blood tests done and my EDG is Thursday. The reality of all this is settling in and I'm pushing myself to get a grip on eating better pre-op so I have that mindset post op. I have a total of 3 weigh-ins and I'm on #2 today. It's not a ton left to do so I'm playing the waiting game.
Don't let YOU stand in the way, your biggest why is that you have four babies than need you! I haven't had the surgery, but after years of trying to get the weight off with no avail, I made the decision a couple months ago to do whatever it takes to life longer for my son. It took so long to get him, I'd do anything to be with him as long as I can. You're stronger than your negative thoughts! I'm certainly rooting for you ????
