I ate pizza today! But I am at goal and maintaining. Did you eat the crust? It would be a little surprising if your restriction didn't kick in from that much food in one sitting. I haven't tried a personal size pizza, but I know that I can usually only do about two slices of pizza in a sitting and only if I just eat the toppings off of one of the pieces and not the second piece of crust.

Same thoughts as @JamieLogical. Wondering why your restriction didn't "kick in" at some point. How did you feel physically after eating the pizza?

I had pizza last Sunday - homemade thin crust because no one does it better than my hubby; however, I can eat only one piece including the crust and maybe another bite or two of just toppings from a second piece. There's no way I could eat an entire 6" personal size pizza.

Just chalk it up to one meal and move on with your good habits for the rest of the day. Everyone has a moment every now and then :) one meal off your recent norm doesn't mean you failed!!

I definitely agree that you need to put it behind you. In real life, you can't be perfect 100% of the time. The best you can do is try to make good choice 80-90% of the time. If you beat yourself up for making a bad choice once in a while, that can lead you down a path you don't want to end up on.

Speaking of pizza (and I do love it), I was checking my local bariatric online support group on Facebook this morning, and this lady had posted a picture of this pizza that she found at a local nutritional supply place. The pizzas are personal size, and she said she could eat half of one for a meal and she said that it was delicious, but a little pricey at $7.00 each.

I was thrilled with the nutritional information of the pizza. One pizza has 270 calories, 25 grams of Protein, 16 grams of fat and get this... only 4 carbs!

So I looked up the pizza on Google, the name of it is Real Good Pizza Company. They have a website and a bunch of 5-star reviews for the product. If you buy them from the company, you can get them for $5.80 each, with a minimum order of 12 pizzas.

I can hardly wait to try it... going to place an order next week with them.

@mylighthouse That seems pretty cool. I like the idea that the "crust" is made from chicken and cheese. Wish they had a smaller minimum order to try it out. $70 is pretty pricey to find out you really don't like it!

@JamieLogical yes, I agree with you, $70 is very pricey if it turns out you don't like the pizza. I think this weekend I am going to go to my nutrition store... apparently it can be found where I am at a place called Total Nutrition. I will pick up one pizza for $7 to see if I like it before I put in the big order with the company. I believe I saw a "store locator" on Real Good Pizza Company's website. They might have someone who carries it in your town.

I will let you know whether it's yummy or not. :)
