  1. Going through this right now unfortunately. Was approved to take Liquid Mucinex and Tylenol Cold. Took the Mucinex and believe the alcohol content was to much. Didn't feel drunk but my stomach felt "funny" so haven't taken it since but may try one more time to get the mucus up and out. The Tylenol seems to be ok. It does suck not being able to just take meds to quickly heal. Oh and surprisingly I was ok with Airborne too but my NUT says everyone isn't so lucky (FYI). Hope you two above feel better!!! Me too:) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm not familiar with it. I had my surgery 12/1 and have only used items from the list. Personally didn't want to take any chances. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  4. Thanks but no thanks can't do chalky. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Do they taste chalky? These are not gummy exactly but not chalky tasting but they are chewy hence the name. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I would suggest telling them that and sending them back for a replacement to at least try another flavor. Never had this problem perhaps because I haven't tried the orange:) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Are they the chewy bites vs chewables? In the chewy bites I have tried the dark cherry, strawberry watermelon, and Carmel are great! The coconut was decent but not as good as the above. I was told you can't take 2 at the same time because your body only has capacity to absorb one at a time which is why they say take one every 2 hours. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Same her. I order them of their website and they deliver quickly! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Are you spacing each of them out every 2 hours? I too take my two multi vitamins in the AM but not both one at 9AM then the next at 11AM followed by same guidelines for lunch and dinner with calcium and iron. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. Does Nascobal offer chewy bites? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Try the chewy bites vitamins from Bariatric Advantage they taste good, have variety, and are specifically formulated for us. I love them! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I will be praying for you and all of us. I'm sorry to hear you are going through this! The good news is that you are going through this and coming out soon and better than before[emoji4] because you know what to do. I thank you for this post having had my bypass on 12/1 it reminds me to not comfortable no matter what. I have done good with my vitamins because I have alerts set on my phone every 2 hours so I don't forget. I highly recommend you do this because we must get our vitamins since we can't eat the foods that provide them like we use to do. I try to get protein shakes in to ensure I get my daily serving of protein or add the medical protein to soups and such. Liquids I'm still a little short on but I try to fill my 32oz bottle twice to get in my 64oz but again I'm improving but not there just YET[emoji6] We can do this people!!![emoji1433] Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. I couldn't stand the taste of water either but it's getting better now. Had surgery 12/1. Try the sugar free kool-aid grape and cherry that worked well for me. Now I'm trying the crush brand and pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Take a higher dosage and only take two like me:) I use Bariatric Advantage and the Carmel is like eating candy! The coconut is good too. Ordering other Flavors today and they have sample packs you can order. I only do the chews not chewable chalky tasting stuff makes it more tolerable. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. I stopped mine a week after surgery and have been fine but going to ask my surgeon about it on the 14th to see what he has to say. My husband says I'm not snoring so life is good:) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. It takes time be patient with yourself and know that internally there are many adjustments taking place. I had to do the same and in some ways it's still a work in progress and my surgery was 12/1 but every week is process[emoji847] Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  23. Slept on our down stairs chaise for the first few days before making it back to bed. So try a recline and or chaise and prop yourself up. Be sure to continue on the pain meds they help during this time. I stopped my pain meds around a week. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
