  1. I remember having my doubts when this hit the market, but now I'm like this works! Nice to know I'm not alone[emoji1]
  2. Mine too, needed to hear this and thanks for sharing!
  3. My sister said the same! She had hers 4 yrs ago.
  4. Thanks for this clarity and confirmation![emoji847]
  5. Happy you are doing better!!! Glad you are getting cleared to workout. It helps. Listen to your body and when in doubt contact your NUT for clarity (something I do too) People will have their "two cents" about "I would never do" but their body isn't yours so do what's best for you with approved doctors orders and wishing you all the best![emoji4]
  6. Agreed and thanks for the acknowledgement[emoji4]
  7. I saw this recipe and tried it with ground turkey (since that's what was in my fridge) figuring it couldn't be to different and it seemed to taste ok. So perhaps folks really need to do the ground chicken. Will try it again with ground chicken:) Glad you all enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing.
  8. Morning Everyone! So I don't know about you but since my surgery my poop and gas smell worse than ever. Especially my poop. So while at Bed, Bath, & Beyond I decided to pick up a bottle of this as I had seen it advertised before and was curious but now really needed it to work. To my surprise it works perfect! So I thought it was worth recommending here especially for those of us who have spouses and family in the house Hope this helps someone!
  9. You did not take the easy way out. Many people just think we have surgery and BAM the weight magically falls us without us doing anything. They don't see the blood, sweat, and tears we put into making it happen pre surgery to the post op challenges and overall lifestyle changes. If she is overweight chances are secretly she wishes she could have the surgery too. Or perhaps she was genuinely concerned hearing possible horror stories. Either way you know her better than us. However, it is essential to protect your space and energy always and now more so than ever! You need to have a sit down heart to heart with her to address this. Start with the positive of why you love her then transition to your observations and how she has made you feel then close it out with your desired outcome. I hope this works out for you both. At the same time, know friendships can be for a season and not a lifetime. I have a best friend since age 5 and thought we'd be friends for a lifetime but now at 38 years old we are not. So know it's going to be alright either way and CONGRATS on your decision for a healthier you!!![emoji4]
  10. Was told 1 year. Had Gastric Bypass.
  11. Oh I know and no worries I was teasing in a living joking way that's all.
  12. Agreed...I do the same. Have reminders set for every 30 minutes and every 2 hours for my Vitamins. It works!
  13. Agree with Martha below and the only odor will come from your feces after. Or at least speaking for me my poop smells worse than ever. I bought that Poopuri and it works.
  14. Sorry if I missed it but are you referring to the Bariatric Advantage chewy bites?
  15. I feel you! Moved from Chicago and have family in MO so I get it! How do you like living in Myrtle Beach?
  16. Moved here from Chicago almost 2 years ago. Was in Charlotte Ballantyne area and now in Monroe, NC
  17. Hilarious! You sound like me when I was asking this:) It depends, what type of surgery did you have?
  18. Oh good[emoji4] Yes that sounds familiar but the key is setting alerts based on the time you typically wake. You need to have protein almost immediately after waking or within 1 hour of waking. I was able to get in about 85-90% by setting alerts on my phone every 15 mins because initially I would forget[emoji6] it helped!
  19. Oh ok well one of us will hopefully communicate back on it:)
  20. Thank you going to look into both.
  21. Good for you! Good question...it's funny how times moves you along and you forget exact time frames, but it varies. In my experience anywhere from immediately to an hour, but the hour was rare. Just keep has relief products on hand as well.
