Vitamin Switch
I've only taken Bariatric Advantage CHEWY multivitamin, calcium, & iron vitamins since my surgery 12/1/16. Do you know of any equivalents that are not as expensive? I don't mind making a switch as long as the quality is there AND they MUST taste good (don't want to feel like I'm eating chalk) Please offer any advice you have. Thank you!

I felt the same. You will experience a roller coaster of those emotions and questioning your decision but try not to because soon you will be on the other side enjoying the benefits. I'm experiencing from experience and had to take this advice too. During these times remind yourself of why you got the surgery and your results are coming SOON!!!

Hey Ladies! Just want to be what I hope is a gleam of light for you all. I had my surgery 12/1 and I so remember being and feeling exactly where you ladies are but know soon you will look up and be to your new normal of feeling good AND looking good! My highest weight was 215, at surgery I was 192, and today I'm 152 just 10lbs away from goal weight. Ladies it gets better I promise just take it one day at a time but start with the end in mind[emoji6] Congrats ladies!!!- Forgetful on Vitamins
I take only chewy bariatric advantage and they never make me feel sick. I tried an iron pill because I ran out by someone else and didn't like it so only using Bariatric Advantage. I have 6 alarms set on my phone (2 multi's, 2 calciums, & 2 irons) and I take them immediately to stay on track daily.- Vitamins
Had GB surgery 12/1 and have only used Bariatric Advantage vitamins. I don't wish to sacrifice quality for price. However, if there are vitamins at the same quality that cost less please advise. Thank you.- Chewable Vitamins
I ordered all my vitamins from Bariatric Advantage and have had no issues or problems with the product or customer service.- Pickles!
While in the liquid phase I drank a little of the juice to subside the craving. At 3 months almost 3 1/2 I had a small piece and was good.- Water
Crystal lite and sugar free Kool-aid (my favorite) and those type of drinks- I hate protein shakes
Can't wait to try this!- Feeling hungry all the time
It will get better, keep the faith! I felt like you and can't believe I'm 3 1/2 months out already. It's coming and remember you why and celebrate even the smallest of victories. Congrats!- Feeling hungry all the time
It will, keep the faith! I felt like you and can't believe I'm 3 1/2 months out already. It's coming and remember you why and celebrate even the smallest of victories. Congrats!- Keeping food down (or not)
Definitely call your doctor. I would continue on the soft foods for 3-4 weeks. I say this because I wasn't release to regular food till 3 months after surgery and I didn't have any issues. All the best to you!!!- How to tell when I'm full?
Well said! Agreed and same here. As long as you are monitoring your intake and intentional fully following your eating guidelines you are doing great!- Protein!
Went to the site and looks delicious! Going to order and can't wait to try. Thanks for sharing!- Where is everyone from City & State
I'm from Chicago too! Now live in NC but had GB- Where is everyone from City & State
Finally someone from here! Lived in Charlotte now in Monroe. Where did you have your surgery?- Alcohol
I'm a little over 3 months out and had a few sips of my sisters cocktail and felt fine. No desire to start drinking on my own, but felt nothing after a few sips. Can take it or leave it. Just wanted to report out:)- Help!! Food issues.
I wasn't allowed to have crackers until almost 3 months so my stomach could heal properly. Download the below app, it's who I went through for my surgery and they have the Bariatric Bistro of recipes for every phase...- GAS PAIN!!!
Ladies just want to encourage you to walk, walk, walk and to know it really does get better so start with the end in mind. I didn't feel like walking then but made myself do it to feel better it really does give some relief. I'm a little over 3 months and happy to say it felt like I would never get here and thankful it went faster than anticipated so know your time is coming soon ladies!- How soon after surgery did you have sex?
Felt like you do, but attempted 2 weeks out and felt it the next day so waited another week and seemed to be better. I'm 3 months post op as of yesterday and life is good now!- Poo-Pourri
Thanks for the fyi! Wouldn't have thought to do that being so use to just buying it now. Will do and thanks much! - Today has been a tough one-Day 5
