I have Chron's, but it is not active at the moment. I have a surgery date at end of March.

I wasn't sent home with an ab binder but I bought one and thank God I did. Was a god send the first few weeks.

I am 4 weeks tomorrow and have slight pain behind my big incision. At 2 weeks post-op I was still in alot of pain, so I purchased an abdominal binder. It was the best thing I could have done. I wore it during the day for about 10 days. Don't need it anyway, and I feel like I have healed. Maybe try that.

This is great, I mix with Water then pour on a piece of wax paper​and freeze . After frozen, you can break it up into smaller pieces.great cold snack when I crave icecream

You might want to look into a spray on filler for your hair it is very unnoticeable and makes you feel like a million bucks. I tried my moms because I have thinning hair on the top, so I tease it up to fill it out and then lightly spray over the parts where I could see my scalp. It's called my secret hair enhancer and is available online I believe. Made by Regency Cosmetics, Duluth, Ga.

I have a couple of recipes for homemade Protein bars. I used to make them all the time and they are delicious, especially the chocolate peanut butter! I will post them tomorrow!

I have to crush for 6 months. I was trying to mix it with yogurt, pudding, and smoothies. It was horrible tasting and making me sick and nauseous. Someone told me not to mix with anything sweet, but mix with something acidic. So today I put it in some orange juice. What a lifesaver. Wasn't perfect, but oh so much better. Very tolerable.

I've been eating watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, and cuties and haven't had any issues.

Good luck tomorrow. I know the anxiousness, my surgery 3/28 - seems like it is taking forever to get here. I'm also in CA. Keep us posted on how you are doing....

Can't believe I'm getting Sleeved tomorrow. This came way too quickly. Super excited but every nervous.....

The last 4 weeks have flown bye for me! I had my sleeve on February 15th and things went very well. I had a few days of pain, and it took the whole week to feel confident with my liquid diet. At three weeks I was able to move onto soft food and so far I have tolerated everything I have ate. The best part is I have lost a total of 30 pounds in 4 weeks! I feel amazing, and am already thankful for this surgery. I hope to continue on my journey and become the healthiest version of myself. I'm thankful for everyone's posts and information who prepared me for this new life journey, it really is quite the ride.

My NUT recommend Trader Joe's Organic low sodium chicken broth. It is way better than the other brand names I bought at the grocery store. I dump a little pepper and garlic or onion powder in it too.

Im also getting sleeved on 3/28. Woo hoo - excited and nervous!

My broth has to have less than 140mg of sodium per serving. Very hard to find. I finally found Trader Joe's Organic chicken broth that is decent. All the low sodium broth at the grocery stores have about 600+ grams of sodium

Oh I hear you!! Too me it smells like wet dog. I tried pepper and parsley. No better.
I didn't drink any broth during my pre-diet.

I have done great all day, and was looking forward to some chicken broth tonight.

The chicken broth on my list must be 140 mg or less of sodium per serving. I found some Campbell's on-line.

IT TASTES LIKE DIRTY FEET! And it smells even worse. I tried dumping some pepper in it - didn't help - ugh.....

Length of surgery, length of hospital stay, will you have a drain.....

chicken broth, Jello and diluted apple juice has all manage to stay down well..THANK YOU JESUS.

Mine is 3/28, and I too have a 30 day liquid pre-op diet....ugh!
