Today is my day, as I prepare to head to the hospital. I have soooooo my emotions going on right now. BUT so excited to start my new Journey, God has prepared me for this day, come what may, I know God is in control. I CAN DO ALL THINGS, THOUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENS ME. After surgery walk walk walk. I got up at a quarter to every hour and walked til the hour. I went home the next morning with no pain, no gas, no nausea. Two days later no meds at all. Just walk.

The first 24 hours are definitely the roughest. Glad to hear you came through surgery okay. Just remember to walk, walk, walk!
