Doctor Jose Rodriquez
He performed my surgery. I haven't had any complications with the exception of today (I am having a dull throb that comes and goes. Not sure why or what it is. The last two days I have been loosening my bra when I have been sitting in the car for too long). If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer.

Official Spring/Easter Thank You Thread!
Hi Robin, My apologies for responding so late. I thought you had forgotten about me and then I was cleaning up the bathroom (new addition) and discovered my package. The boys and I had gone to Georgia for Easter and a well deserved vacation. During that time my package arrived and my husband set it out of the way (we are also remodeling the kitchen as well as adding a bathroom) and forgot about it. I love the picture frame! It is so cheery. It really does a nice job of brightening up our drab classroom. Thanks so much for thinking of me. Lisa

I can't wait to use the two when I go out with my husband. He embarrases easily. I am litterally crying I laughing so hard. My husband is going to think I have really gone crzay. I already ask for my fries cooked dark like me (well that's when I used to eat fries). Thanks so much for picking up my day. Order Diet Water With A Serious Face Whenever You Go Out To Eat. 11. Specify That Your Drive-through Order Is "to Go."

How often do you PB?
I was banded 12.12.2005 and only PB'd 2 times. The first time was on yuca (I'd actually forgotten I was banded) and then on a piece of sausage. Chewing well is now a habit so I guess that is why I haven't done it any more.

Is This True?
Wouldn't it be unethical for a US Doctor to sale expired medical supplies to anyone? Also, my doctor gave me the box the lapband came in and the label state: Not returnable for Credit Once Seal Is Broken. So, if a US doctor can get a credit on expired merchandise, why then woul they send it out of country? It's funny how some US doctors try to discredit Mexico doctors despite the fact the Mexican doctors have been performing the procdure for 10+ years and train the US doctors.

NSV - Waistline is back
Hello, THis morning I was standing in the mirror and realized the roll of fat that used to be present was gone and now I have one smooth waist line. It's still thick but at least it is smooth. I am so happy. I am on my way to the gym. I can't get dressed fast enough. I am so motivated!

Did anybody pass on getting 1st fill??
No fill for me. I was banded December 12, 2005. My weight loss has been slow but that is probably because I was drinking Starbuck's coffee. Then after the Starbucks I think I dropped my caloric intake too low for my body. I don't plan to get one becasue of a number reasons: 1. Money 2. Scared of complications and then have to return to the doctor and pay more money. 3. Scared of too much restriction and then have to remove my band. 4. Scared of too much restriciton and then have erostion 5. Heck, just plain ol'e scared! 6. Self pay - so if there are any complications there isn't any money lef.

Had a Great Workout
Ok...it's me talking to me again. Let's see where do I start? I think I have missed a couple of days. The good thing is that time was well spent and I didn't do anything I would regret like snacking. Yesterday I went to the gym with Steven and really must admit I had a gooood work out. I keep forgetting to take my pen & pad with me so I can write down the exercies I do. I will try to do it from memory or at least what is left of my memory. Here goes: 45 minutes - treadmill - 11 - 15 incline (would vary depending how I felt) hip abductor (outside muscles) 3sets of 10 at 25lbs hib abductor (inside muscles) 3 sets of 10 at 25lbs squats (sitting in machine) 3 sets of 10 at 90lbs, 1 set of 10 at 75lbs squats (pushing wiht feet, still sitting) 3 sets of 10 at 90lbs biceps curls 3 sets of 10 at 20lbs abs (turn to left) 3sof10 @25lbs abs (turn to right) 3sof10 @20lbs abs(crunch) 3sof10 @40lbs 3 flights of stairs on stairclimber 10 minutes - steam room --- *** I will never pass up the steam room again. I woke this morning without any pain, soreness etc. I have never gone to the gym, worked out and wasn't very sore the next morning. I HATE being sore. In fact this is the main reason why I didn't work out. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I got on the scale and saw it finally moved. I have been a bit concerned as I had not bee losing any weight. I guess now that am working out I should improved results. Ate 3 hard boiled eggs before working out and 1 chicken patty breast afterwards. Drank all of my water without any problems. Had a little fruit. Than'ts all I can remember. Oh, yea I am 5 lbs to onderland!! Cool beans, huh? When I hit 175 I will be able to see my goal in sight. Of course I am preparing for the reality that the scale might never again read 128 becuase hopefully I will gain muscle. So, instead maybe I should go into The Boutique (my closet) and grap an old pair of jeans I'd like to get into. I'll talk to me later.
