I was just there a few weeks ago. Everything at Walmart is similarly priced. Booze and cigs are really cheap. You may have to buy a script while you are there. I would say at least $100 for incidentals.

I am using Medicredit for Dr. Joya, in Puerto Vallarta. It takes a few weeks, they will confirm with the doctors office and send you a check. In order to get a bank draft; the funds have to sit in the bank for 5 days. The interest rates are not awesome; and you definitely have to pre plan. But, it is another option.

I've been shopping with this mentality lately. What the heck am I going to feed the whole family? I am trying to find an alternative to chips, we've got more beef jerky in the house now (is that even healthy) I am terrified of failure and having food funerals at the same time (fave restaurants). I think this is the process of becoming a mindful eater and choosing a healthier you...????

I'm so glad you posted this. I was trying to figure out how to replace my morning Timmy's Ice capp. There is a Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino latte flavor. I've read it's really good mixed with ice and coffee. I've also seen quite a few people add almond milk to their coffee.

Hi all, I'm from Canada, and I'm going to Puerto Vallarta in October (VSG with Dr.Joya). I would like to take a month off and cover the first 2 weeks with PTO. I am planning on letting work know 30 days in advance, and filing STD paperwork after the surgery. I have coverage with Great West, and I'm wondering if anybody has had experience with GWL? Or with having a surgeon in Mexico? ????

After doing much research and watching a few YouTube videos, I finally put a deposit down with Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta. I have been on the Weight Wise "list" for close to 8 months with no call back yet. The cost is $5000 and 2 hotel nights are included. I went directly through Nathalie to book the appointment and the response time hasn't been the best, but I didn't want to pay extra for a scheduling service.
