  1. @@mandy4508 I glad that you are doing well. I had my surgery in Mexico as well and I was quite happy with the care I received.
  2. Good for you! It definitely isn't easy putting up pictures for the whole world to see. The good news is that every picture after will be a bit harder to see because you will be smaller and smaller!
  3. I mix Powerade Zero with water 50/50. It avoids the overly sweet flavor and it is cheap. My local grocery store has them everyday for $.80 for 32 bottles.
  4. @@mandy4508 Here is the link on this forum. http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/337950-bariatricpal-is-no-longer-affiliated-or-recommending-dr-mario-almanza/
  5. I'm not trying to scare you but I hope that you have done some recent research on your surgeon. He has not had a good reputation as of late. This particular form has completely disassociated with him as well.
  6. Have fun with it like I am. Tell them that you are intentionally slimming down so that you can work in the adult film industry again. That will leave them questioning, again??? Usually when I'm asked how I am losing the weight I respond with "The Mexico water diet, I crap out all of my fat".
  7. Sadly I will never be "normal". Perhaps as a BMI range but never otherwise. You look awesome! Congratulations!
  8. Very nice! It is a wonderful thing when your boobs come around the corner before your belly!
  9. I have a very funny story about hot peppers and rubbing certain body parts, but it is not worth my life to tell it. Suffice to say, they were not my parts, and I was threatened on several levels if I ever touched peppers and those parts in that order again. I can imagine enough of that story! Ouch!
  10. Actually I would love to go to England some day.
  11. Now I'm looking at low carb "cornbread". Dang you Little Bill! A word of warning. Don't be a dumbass like me and rub your nose and eye immediately after chopping the habanero...
  12. Oh and lovely, glorious vampire repellent!
  13. I mentioned to my wife that I needed garbanzo beans and SHE immediately responded with HELL NO! Considering her response and the fact that I cuddle with her to steal her heat, I didn't get any. I do currently have spicy pork sausage (from last year's pig) black beans, kidney beans, my honey habanero onions, some random leftover salsa, cumin, black pepper and brown sugar all hanging out in a pot on the stove right now. Thanks for the inspiration!
  14. 237! I think that my 230 goal is looking good! I will probably drop that goal lower to 225 next week.

  17. I will trust your judgment and do the can of gonzo beans... Thanks for the recipe!
  18. Truthfully many people were given straws in the hospital. It seems to be an old wives tale told over and over again. Some people have problems with drawing in excess air with a straw while others get their fluids in much better with a straw. I'm not a doctor but I would give it a shot when I felt comfortable.
  19. Prayers for your family!
  20. It seems ironic to me that this whole post is about being cold but yet on the website here it is listed as "hot".
