  1. Come on in, JEP! Welcome to the boards!! Sounds like you are doing fantastic!
  2. Welcome aboard harley girl! There is a ton of info to go through!!
  3. Fantastic! You're already on your way to kicking ass with your band!
  4. Uh, go in to the forum in which you've posted. There's a chart for both "views" and "replies" in which your thread is located. I hope that helped?
  5. Hi AuntieGG. Welcome and come on in! You're right, this is a great source of information. Pull up a chair and look around!
  6. Hi there, Diva. There's not really a secret to losing. Mostly, you have to exercise and make good food choices. Where do you seem to having the most trouble? Portion sizes, length between meals, activity level, etc.?
  7. Try upping your protein a little (within the doc's constraints). It helped me a lot!
  8. Not really. It's something that most of us had to tough out. Hang in there...it will soon get better.
  9. What's pansexual? How does that differ from Bisexuality?
  10. Yeah, I seem to get that all the time. I wonder why? Heeeee......
  11. Really? Was this directed @ me? I'm a little confused... She apologized that her post offended people. She believes being gay is a choice. Re-read her post. Even if you don't agree that homosexuality is a choice (I don't either, BTW), there's a big difference in disagreeing with that idea and "You are an enemy to your family"
  12. Yes.......multiposting is here to stay.......Bwahahahahahaha!!! You can't put the genie back in the bottle, SNT!!
  13. Clusk, she just apologized for an ill thought out post. Why would you want to stir the pot??
  14. Very nice car. Sorry for the lack of multiquote, She. When I come in on Monday night, there's like, 800 new posts in each thread I subscribe to. My mind only holds so much stuff....and the amount is pretty small.
  15. What.The.Hell?? "now my poop smells like a cooked hamburger"......I can see the office banter now: Guy 1 - "Hey, I smell burgers. Is it time for the company picnic already?" Guy 2 - "Nope. Paul just took a shit".
  16. Don't look at me. I'm Native American.
  17. I'd *consider* voting for you, SNT. Perhaps you could be the unifying factor for this country!! I'll check my calender, but.....my new one-man show, The Plain train is pretty booked up.
  18. Not my business, since I don't live in Cali, but I think true conservatives would want this settled on a state basis. Isn't that what this ballot is all about (I have no idea, though. Have the citizens of Cali already voted on gay marriage, or is this the first vote)??
  19. I know everybody poops, but......come on. They are a little hung up on bowel issues. Heeheehee........ I wonder if she used "just a drop" or "poo-pouri"?!?
  20. Yes. Yes I am. New winter avi coming soon. Mac = funny. Cranky Mac = funnier. I had actually just gotten the cheetos out. The weeping / self loathing had not yet commenced. Hey no piling on the insults after a protracted absence! Tap, please.....we are both married, so let's not make this any more difficult. Because it's CANDY!! Ah hells yeah!! Ratt!! I <heart> 80's music. Because *awesome* weighs more than fat. Thought you knew that? BTW, "nicey"-type statements are rare, so don't expect another for awhile.... Ok, I'll back out. SOMEbody has a cool new avi!! I like it!
  21. Patty, Steve was sharing something from his pastoral duties. None of us were there, so it's a little disingenuous to be critical of what he said or did not say. Remember that Jesus will be all our "public defender" when judgement day rolls around. Hey, I'm from there! Be careful in dem hills.....*"dueling banjos" plays* Well.....The government shouldn't promote a particular religion. However, all our current laws are based in the Judeo-Christian tradition (like it or not). I do not want to be a totally secular nation, like France....where the government is so afraid to even utter the word "religion" that they have, at times, become totally impotent. Heehee....I said "impotent". Well, I'm crushing big time, even though I'm a dude. You are a beautiful person, RSG. Ditto. I have lots of lesbian friends. To me, Marriage is more traditional. A civil union, with all legal rights of marriage, is ok by me. I'm not being discriminatory......I'm just a traditionalist. Damn, Susan, that's some good moderatin', there! Well done! That is soooooooo funny. I tell my wife all the time that "Nostradamus predicted (insert anything here) when I want something". Love that idea. You could even "ink" a print on a card to vote absentee. Of course, it would mean that the government would have a database of all registered voters' thumbprints. Nothing wrong with that, I guess (in Texas you give 'em your print when you renew your DL), but the libertarian part of me kinda cringes at that thought.
  22. Huh?? Whatyoutalkingabout?? Which part of the constitution says marriage is a right?
  23. plain replied to plain's topic in Rants & Raves
    Yes. Mentoring. I agree 1000%.
  24. What is this about? Hey now, calm down! Internet arguing is like internet marriage...what's the point?
  25. Nope. I've seen my share of stupid conservatives, too. Did you see John Stossel's (sp) bit about the average voter? I didn't call anybody any name. WTF? By that logic, the founding fathers didn't fight for our right to electricity, or the internal combustion engine, or antibiotics. What's your point, exactly? And whats with all the Bush stuff? Is it ok to point out McCain's associations with Bush, but then decry Obama's associations with Bill Ayers? Personally, I dont get as riled up about all this stuff as some on this thread. If reading this raises anybodys BP, then.....don't read. Problem solved.
