  1. I saw something on 20/20 awhile ago about people that fell for the scam. Thing is, the scam always plays on the greedy nature of people. That's why it works.........some people are more greedy than smart.
  2. Man, some people have all the luck......
  3. Well, not after that ugly incident with Deputy Jeffery "eyebrowz" Smith.....
  4. New fangled? I live in an area so rual that the breathalyzers are carved from wood. You record the level of intoxication by moving a colored golf tee into a series of drilled holes. They resemble the rustic games you can find tableside at The Cracker Barrel
  5. Bwahahahahahaha!!!! What an awesome pickup line that would be!!
  6. Oh my! Jury duty truly truly sucks......and I live in an extremely small county. I can't imagine jury duty in Houston. My last go around, the potential case was for a DWI (repeat) who refused to perform the breathalyzer. His bigshot (because she was from the big city of Texarkana, LOL) lawyer asked by a show of hands of people that could convict without concrete evidence of intoxication (ie, the breathalyzer). I raised my hand and she asked me if I believed the machine was always right. I responded that I believed the machine generally functioned correctly. She asked why I had so much faith in the technology, and I said I worked in a hospital around technology and believed that relatively simple machines are easy to maintain and calibrate. So then she asks if I know how a breathalyzer works....and I tell her and the judge and God that I don't know the specifics, but I believe it has something to do with science, and is not the result of devil's magic. She didn't ask me anymore questions and, shockingly enough, I was not picked to be on the jury.
  7. I don't think the post is inappropriate.....I just found it pretty funny that you asked a question: "When is it safe to have sex", and J. Joseph, instead of answering the question, posts on how to improve anal / oral sex. And hey, if J. Joseph feels that free to post that......good for him. It's a good thing and a compliment to Alex (the main dude) that people are free to express themselves here, and to ask all sorts of questions. But that still cracks me up.
  8. See my post above :smile2:
  9. The public has spoken! Anybody want to start a pool to bet when the posts hit 10,000?
  10. Heehee....tall?!? Know what we call 5'8" and 5'3" here in Texas? Preteens. I'm kidding! I kid because I love.... Ok, seriously, I'm going to give you a bit of the male perspective, and I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but I think you may be over-reacting a little. He has already complimented your physical appearance numerous times. If the sex is mind-blowing (er, no pun intended), then he clearly finds the rest of your body desirable as well. If he didn't like all of you, there wouldn't be a relationship (it would have been a drunken one night stand). Trust me on this. Maybe he flubbed the face compliment, but hey......dudes are not generally well known for their eloquent declarations. I know it's difficult to drop the baggage of the past, but you are simply not that person anymore. Heck, the camera will tell you that! You're hot! Accept it. Now, go find your new beau and you two go have some more small person sex, LOL.
  11. Ok, it's a compromise. But I still find myself waiting for the other shoe to drop.
  12. ....but even non-venomous snake can pack a painful bite!! Let's just avoid them altogether (or maybe Fanny could call in St. Patrick). Did y'all hear that? Somebody missed me!! W00t Well....absolutely. Yeah, the same thing kinda happened to me....that's why I have to wear "real man" brand underwear (with the reinforced crotch). It's just not fair to ask regular underwear fabric to do all that heavy lifting. BTW, you're complaining about having too much boobage? Really? I tried to google it, but according to the internet, there is no such a problem. For the sake of the friendship, I'm just gonna forget you said that...... Clearly, the federal government needs to spend more research dollars on this problem. The "shrinking boobs" issue makes the current recession look like "the good ol' days". Think about the kids, people. They're our future.
  13. Fanny! You look great! I was going to make a cliche' Freudian remark about you needing to "handle snakes", but I will resist.....must resist......Oh, and WHY WERE YOU HANDLING SNAKES?!?
  14. plain replied to Loprofyl's topic in The Guys’ Room
93 lbs lost....man you are still kicking some serious ass! Your post sounds a little down, but your numbers are good. Sucks about the job. Just hang in there.
  15. Good luck Brian! You'll be up & about in no time! Although you might want to pack some earplugs, if you'll be in the women's ward, LOL. Shhhhh, don't tell the ladies I just made a sexist joke! Seriously, it's all good.....so try not to stress too much.
  16. Hi Kyley. Sounds like you are doing awesome! Even if you do like to print in tiny tiny font so old farts like me have a hard time reading, LOL !!
  17. Sounds like you're on the mend, Mark. Good luck!
  18. Sorry Justine, I can't give any solid insurance advice (but there is an insurance forum for you to explore here). But I can welcome you in and tell you we are glad to have you aboard!
  19. Hi! You can expect some soreness for a few days / weeks (seems everybody is different), but it's not too bad. I was back at work in 3 days. Most docs don't want you lift anything much over 5 lbs for 2 weeks while your sutures heal. Come on in and look around. There's a lot of information to be read here.
  20. Hi Sassy, welcome!! Before you get any fills, it is easier to eat more than you should. It takes most of us several fills before we get to the "sweet spot" of good restriction......but some get there with less. Even though it is difficult, try not to challenge the band by eating more than you should. It will get easier as you get some fills.
  21. Tracy, sounds like you are off to a great start. Welcome to LBT. Good luck on your journey!
  22. Wow, what a great story....Wiz, you totally rock. Welcome to the boards!!!
  23. Didn't you ever see the PSA where we were all instructed that "words hit as hard as a fist"? I would never stoop to name calling! Heh.....
  24. So you ladies are suggesting that (much like Highlander), when it comes to males in the PJTP, "there can be only one"?? I'm thinking a gladatorial death match in an arena? Ceradad may be bigger, smarter and faster than me, but I have "hypno eyes" and know several card tricks. Advantage: me.
  25. WTF?!? Dear Penthouse, I never thought this would happen to me, but......
