Part of her weight is due to PCOS... I would think she would Celebrate larger size people if she had an actually full time job and some direction in life... Instead I think she just reinforces negative stereotypes about obese people...She's been enabled by the parents... It's easy whine about being obese harder to choose to do something about it

I agree that seems on the low side, as I see from being on the forum there is lot of variety of post op eating directions.

Maybe she meant 30grams in one meal? I've seen post on here that say the body can only absorbs 30 grams of Protein at a time...I guess being a teacher I'm more conscious of communication, when people are giving direction they should be crystal clear...

This is just an observation, it seems some threads turn into tension based on which posters are involved... Does anyone else notice a pattern?

I think you should have confidence in the fact the surgeon would not take you on as a patient if she/he thinks you will be denied, lots of time and resources would be wasted on his end... Stay confident, life has a funny was of making things work out.

I'm pre-op, I have met with the nutritionist to discuss post op eating... I'm required to have between 60-80 grams Protein and a 1day liquid diet..

I think pre op/ post op there's a lot going in the mind... I can relate to be guarded with whom you share it... It's normal to have a wide variety of feelings and even second guessing, we don't need outside influences adding fuel to that fire... I feel you can say your having surgery for female issues, very few want to discuss that any further lol... Later down the road when your success starts to show you can give more info... For me, my logical mind knows this is going to result in weight loss as it has for everyone else but having been obese for so long and tried so many think I have a slight hint of self doubt... I would not want to put it on blast until I see it working... I just think people's mouth can be the worst weapon and often times better not to hear them...

I decidex not to watch when I seen a grown adukt woman living with her mom and was a slob, not funny and vasically getting money to be on a show about being fabulous and fat but complaining about losing weight whike shoving everything bad down her throat and drinking.
She is everything that I hate and is just giving ammunition to people to mock overweight people.

Hi all, I'm newbie and am surprised at the level of hostility and arguments on here. Most of them come down to religion, I'm an atheist and don't particularly like people saying things to me like 'I'll pray for you' or basically mentioning religion in anyway shape of form. It offends me. But that's me and my opinion, I don't complain about it to them. It comes from a nice, meaningful place for that person. Why does everything seem to degenerate to some form of argument which is of no use to any of us here to seek advice and support. Think I'll be signing off. This forum appears to have a lot of helpful caring people and a handful of narky, miserable, trouble causers and it's not what I need to waste my time reading right now. Thanks for the helpfulness and positivity from most of you. Ciao for now

Cut it shorter and get sulfate free shampoo... Neither will help it grow but will make what you have look very healthy.
Maybe get a keratin treatment to help it look more healthy.
My hair dresser had weight loss surgery, she said its just going to happen but she has the plan for my hair ready.

I always ate too fast pre-op.
The biggest benefit to chewing I have noticed is that I can actually taste my food. Instead of rushing to the next big bite, if I slow down and chew thoroughly I get a bigger flavor bang for my buck. There also has to be some connection to the brain to help me feel more satisfied with a smaller amount of food.< /p>
Rather than wolfing down my food, I can enjoy it longer.
