Hello! I am scheduled for surgery July 5th. I met with my dietician yesterday and she gave me the pre and post-op diet plans. I am sooo confused because so many on her talk about 2 week liquid diet pre-op... My Dr only requires 3 days. Has anyone else only had 3 day pre-op diet?
Also, from what I have read... you should intake 60-100 grams of Protein a day... my dietician says you only need 30 grams per day. What does intaking more protein do for you?
Thank you for any advice or comments. :-)
