LeslesLosingIt got a reaction from NewSetOfCurves in "But you're so young" and other things that piss me off.
I am 27, was just sleeved on 12/28. I have had a ton of people be supportive and that's great! (I tell everyone, no hiding it.. I even have an instagram dedicated to it!) My surgeon even used my age as one of the reasons he thought I'd be so successful. Easier recovery, etc.
My problem comes from a select group of people who seem to think that because I'm SO YOUNG (which btw.. is 27 even that young, news to me). They ask me why I would take this step at this age, why not wait until longer and see if I couldn't do it on my own (like I didn't try that, thanks for such great advice!).
I'm also not married, and someone had the audacity to ask me what guys would think of my saggy skin... well hell IDK what did they think of my fat? I've never had issues finding a date... so thanks but no thanks.
Then comes the "well you know you can't have kids right away" (my surgeon says 2 years). Considering I'm not married or in a serious relationship, and the fact that I'M NOT EVEN SURE I WANT KIDS this shouldn't be a problem!
I know I should just ignore these people and tell them to shove it, it really hurts my feelings some times. Just today a girl posted a before/after on Facebook and said "did this work the natural way, no pills or surgery for me!". That really hurt. This choice isn't easy. I feel like that was directed toward me.
    End of rant.
    Anyone else feel the same?

I hate to be another "I haven't lost any" whiner and I know it's normal and I know I should accept a stall. But I'm basically so upset at this point I feel like I could cry. I had surgery on 12/28 and since then I'm down about 24 pounds.
I haven't lost any in 2 weeks. This week I did start my period (which have been super irregular since the surgery) so I could blame that to make myself feel better, but I don't think that is why.
    I don't get it.
I get at least 90 oz of Water a day. I take my Vitamins, I eat what I'm supposed to, getting 60+ in Protein daily. My calorie intake isn't high. I will do 1-2 Protein shakes a day, tuna for lunch, and something like a turkey burger or lunch meat for supper. I work out 3 times a week. I don't know what else to do and I am so upset.
Am I expecting too much? I don't have scales at home, so I weigh at work. I am thinking of buying one to have at home so I can weigh first thing...naked, haha am I grasping at straws here?
I should say that the weight I am now is what I weighed all through college. Is my body just like "oh ok, we'll stay here forever again"??
I think my brain is just confused because every diet ever was calories in vs. calories out, and according to that I SHOULD BE losing, but I"m not.
Sorry for the rambly rant. I just needed to get it off my chest to some people who would understand.

I find them boring, but I love that I can up the resistance, so I do them. I have a playlist that is exactly 30 min and I MAKE myself finish it... I'll add more to 45 min eventually. I;ve also found watching youtube videos on my phone helps, takes my mind off of staring at the stupid machine telling me how much more I have to do! haha

I had mine removed 5 years ago and just got sleeved on 1/13. When my surgeon found out that I had it removed already he was happy about it, same with the nurses. I have literally never heard of these complications involving the lack of a gallbladder and the sleeve. If anything I've heard that it's preferable to have it already removed, otherwise you're going to have to do it anyways.
