  1. Mine is tentatively November 23rd at UC West Chester too!
  2. I'm pre op and purged ALL of my bad food. I only have healthy things like sugar free jello and pudding. Wheat thins. Protein bars and shakes. Broth. Stevia. Spices and seasoning (because I can only eat plan grilled chicken so much). Low sodium soy sauce. And then A TON of 4 ounce containers for mean planning and portion control. My doctor put me on a diet eating 4 ounces of good protein and healthy food every 3 hours.
  3. Mm mm sargento low fat string cheese. I keep it in my work fridge and some jerky in my desk. I'm still pre op though. I'm doing this eat 4 ounces every 3 hour diet my doctor has me on.
  4. I'm not a big potato salad person either. What about cole slaw?
  5. I already cut my hair because it was falling out from steroids due to my back injury. I'm afraid of what I'll do when this happens due to WLS. Maybe I will get a wig or something. Was it expensive?
  6. Unjury has a good broth I hear. I'm about to order the sample pack.
  7. Fascinating! I am on a LOT of different meds. Like 15 meds a day. It's no telling what it could be. All my friends are telling me I'm over reacting. I just don't want anything to mess this up, you know? I know I need this surgery to get healthy and stop being on all these meds and seeing all these doctors and being admitted to the hospital all the time. :-/
  8. I hope so bean. :-/ It's not a secret. There's nothing to hide.
  9. Yep. I made a mistake posting it here. No one will believe me. I do get drug tested at work because I'm a social worker at an inpatient drug rehab. Never failed a test. I admit I smoked 5 years ago but not since. The levels were so low it wouldn't even show up on our clients drug screen. It has to be a false positive or a mix up or something. Not much shows a false positive for it so I don't know.
  10. Guys I'm freaking out!! My labs came back and I was able to see the results on line in MyChart. I am horrified!! Something showed up and I'm super afraid to see my Surgeon on Wednesday. I don't even want to say what it is because I didn't do it!! Uugh!! What if they don't do surgery. What if my insurance sees it and denies me!! What if cops are there ready to arrest me!! What if they call my work and tell them!!!
  11. I love split pea Soup and bean with bacon but I'm assuming condensed soup has a bunch crap we can't have so I'm working on making my own healthy versions soon. Can I have grits? I looooove grilled shrimp and grits!!
  12. I used to be pretty too. :-/ Don't mind the 2000's style glasses. Lol.
  13. Uuuuuugh. I talked to someone I work with who had a Gastric bypass and she said I'd need at least 3 weeks off. I was hoping to go back in one. I have a desk job but a lot of client contact and stress sometimes. Uuuuuuuuuuuugh.
  14. Isn't there a clothing exchange on here?
  15. They did a bunch of blood work on me to check cholesterol and things like that. I have asthma and it's not a problem.
  16. I'll be 30 when I have my surgery in November. I have about 140 to lose. So we will see.
  17. You had to do a pre op pap? Why?
  18. Yes. It's 2 of each flavor with a shaker. It's 21$ plus 6 to ship.
