Sad for the old me!

16 weeks post, I have lost 78 lbs so far and I feel great. Today I put together 4 pictures of me from the beginning till now and when I saw the final product of the four pics side by side, I burst into tears. Serious hurt and sadness for the sad person staring at me in the first two pictures. Ugh, a weight literally and figuratively. Really made my heart ache. I am so happy I made the positive change for my life!

In my opinion, I look at the old you and see a woman that saved your life and while I understand wholeheartedly why you look at her with hurt and sadness, I look at her with gratitude and appreciation for you! Look how far you've come :)

So happy for you! xo

How awesome!! I need to do something like that just to have the comparison. Unfortunately I still hate the camera...

Thanks you all! @@leanne1126, I hate it too but I feel that it is theraputive. I definitely don't see it when I look in the mirror, I see the old body! But the face crop in pictures helps and it really hits home!

Oh I know @@red37 Ive just been in a funk. It helps to see the enthusiasm of others. I had a blockage last week and ended up in the hospital for a few days and then the scale is not really moving. Just need to get over the hump and my outlook usually is better! All of my weight progression selfies were on my cell phone that I lost at an amusement park a few weeks ago so that bums me out too. It was however nice to be able to ride the rides and fit in the seat! Darn upside down coasters though, that's how I lost my phone.

Great job! So many inspirational stories today for newbies like me. I can't wait to have comparison pics like yours (of course, you're flat out beautiful so my pics won't exactly stand up to yours). Any way, updates like yours makes newbies like me more determined to work the program and try as best I can. Congrats!
