  1. I wish I could 6 weeks off. Hell even 3 or 4 weeks. :-/ it'd be great to be eating puréed food when I go back to work but I just can't take the time off. That's not how my job works lol.
  2. I don't mean to hijack this thread but I had a fight with my mother today regarding not wanting to take a picture with my grandmother. I just don't like having my picture taken. At all. With anyone. Even celebrities (don't ask long story). Will that change?
  3. Genie bras have lasted me a few band sizes and cup sizes. I'm a 44DD right now but I was a between a 38 and 40D last year. The bra is a little snug but not uncomfortable.
  4. My surgeon said yes but did not know how much is too much. He said problems and liver and kidneys can happen with too much protein.
  5. No idea. Mines 47 so I'm good for a while lol.
  6. Lol. I'm a totally Vera Bradley queen. I have a few matching sets.
  7. Luckily my surgery is (supposedly) going to be the week before or of thanksgiving then I'll be on liquids for Christmas I think.
  8. I'm so afraid I'm going to be denied due to a false positive drug test I have not eaten really since Wednesday. I have anxiety problems anyway (PTSD, OCD, GAD) and I just want to vomit. After I get my sleep study in a few weeks they are going to go ahead and submit to insurance and see if they deny it what we need to do.
  9. I can't wait to sit in a stupid restaurant booth at the stupid restaurant I didn't even want to go to and couldn't order much off the stupid menu. -bitter-
  10. I do this when I'm playing cards or watching a movie on tv. I recently did it for a road trip too. I'm pre op so I'm trying to instill healthy habits now.
  11. I totally have the black and white shirt lol.
  12. I'll be a texting buddy. My surgery is supposedly in November.
  13. Omg I totally saw you! I almost said something about our purses!! Cool lol.
  14. Oh Caresource of Ohio. I work with them daily as that's the insurance almost all my clients have. So many problems. Good luck to you. Document everything and keep copies.
  15. My surgeon told me today 2 preferably 3 weeks. As long as I'm not on pain meds and tolerating water and protein well.
  16. Dr. Thompson was ok. He's not really a jokester, kind of serious sooo we didn't really hit it off lol. I got a smirk out of him when I said the fundus (stretchy part of your stomach) is no fun. But I guess he's a surgeon and needs to be serious lol. I did get to see Ivan today due to my test results so that was fun. Dee said she'd send in my insurance info after I get my sleep study, so in a few weeks. Then we wait. (And see what they say about my labs).
  17. I got mine from QVC like 8 years ago lol.
  18. So I saw my surgeon. He said it can be a false positive but he's afraid that the insurance may deny me because of it. I'm doing a retest though. I'm just not going to worry about it. I didn't do it so that's the truth despite what that test said. I talked to some people they said some times the insurance makes you do classes and/or be negative for 6 months before they will do anything. If that's case I'll be disappointed but as long as I can still attain my goal of having surgery and losing weight I'll be ok.
  19. Oh my gosh. It needs to get cold so I can make Chili.
  20. That puts you in November. Have you done everything else?
