  2. The dietitian isn't "looking for" anything hon! Mine did go over what I eat and then gave suggestions as to what would be better, also they will teach you how to eat with the band (protein first etc) Congrats on your band decision and good luck to you!

  9. I too was band in Jan. and eat both with no problems. I eat only a little and chew very well
  10. "I think I almost liked it better when I was so fat I was invisible" I do so understand this statement and many others you made! I am so sorry this happened to you...... Karma is a bitch baby and what goes around comes around. Being so nasty and hateful will come back to bite her in the azz. Congrats at your awesome weight loss!! I can't wait to be able to post proudly that I too lost 123 pounds!!! You have done a great job and don't let some person filled with negative energy pass that on to you! :thumbup:
  11. TY I understand "clear" liquids :thumbup: I guess I was asking : if there is protein shakes being consumed now what kind of pre-op diet was being followed. Like so many days liquids and then so many days "clear" liquids. I'm sorry if I didn't make myself more understandable.

  14. Bless your heart I do think it's the norm after surgery to be having those issues. It is different for everyone but I have read many times here the same thing you are going through. Good-Luck to you! :thumbup:
  15. I was on liquids for 14 days before my surgery and I had 3-5 protein shakes a day. What are you doing now? The fact that you said "clear" liquids kinda confused me.
  16. Being on liquids is out of the norm so yes it can be some we fear. Just know it goes by FAST and poof before you know it you have the band and you are on your way!!! Good-luck to you!

  23. HEEEEEY!!! I have passed by this "Florida Peeps" many times and it's always naked soooooo I thought I would post a Howdy out there to all ya'll!! I live in Jacksonville and have pretty much my whole life. My kids (bless 'em) went to the same elementary, junior high and high school I went to! :ohmy: what can I say we don't move around much lol. Welp I hope some of ya'll from Florida put in a shout out and say hello! :smile2:
  24. I weigh myself every morning and have started weighing nightly too. Anyways.... I have noticed twice now (at a.m. weigh in) I have jumped 4-5 pounds. The first time I lost it and then some, this time.... time I will tell. I don't understand the cause but interesting to hear some one out there other then me has had the same problem.
