  1. my surgeons office has me on no starches for 3 weeks prior to surgery and 2 days of clears only before surgery
  2. i have a 7 month wait per my insurance so i started in december and will finish in june
  3. im 24 and im married and ill be close to 25 when i have it
  4. my surgeons practice says were only allowed Protein drinks with whey isolate as the first ingredient so things like Syntrax nectar and isopure
  5. that puppy is adorable. so glad you were able to save him.
  6. my surgeons office runs the cost of their fee per my insurance and puts it on a nice sheet of paper outlined for me
  7. thanks for the info i am about a month away from bypass so any people can share is good
  8. yeah i second the keebler elf thing although i will destroy a box of thin mints if left in my house so i never buy them
  9. also caffeine is a diuretic and makes you pee a lot so you lose fluids faster
  10. im still preop but i worry about my marriage honestly my hubby is the best thing to happen to me and i am afraid of losing him. i know our marriage is strong but i still worry
  11. i will be on puree at the same time after surgery you are now so dont worry your gonna be ok
  12. i have actual shopping lists from my nut so i will be consulting those for food and stuff but what did you guys buy as far as like containers and plates and bowls and what not
  13. my pre-op diet is no starches for 3 weeks prior and clear liquids only 2 days prior
  14. i have pcos as well i am pre-op but i was just in the er due to a 7cm cyst on my right ovary it hurts like a son of a gun so now i need to go back to obgyn and get on some form of bc
  15. i love teavannas teas i have some in my cabnit right now yum

  17. i have super mutant teeth i can go months without brushing and never get a cavity i produce excess flouride which is why i cant drink tap water makes me nauseous but i will never need anything from a dentist besides an occasional cleaning because even though my teeth are epic my gums are thin
  18. wow i cant wait till i get there only 2 more months and i join all you fabulous people on the losers bench
  19. make sure you ask for the patch that goes behind your ear for the nausea i always do for surgery and i never am quesy after. just make sure they put a peice of tape on it dont know why but this makes it work better
  20. i am pre-op but my surgeon said she doesnt do drains because of the scar it leaves you i like that shes worried about how we will look after surgery as much as how we will feel
  21. i keep who i told small and all the people i have told have been uber supportive the thing i am having a hard time doing pre-op is give up soda which all my friends know i need to do so they try to be supportive and its great
  22. i have both diabetes and pcos and i talked with my surgeon about wanting a baby and she said the best bet to resolve pcos is bypass so that made my choice easy
  23. oh man my soda habit i drink at least two cans of diet something through out the day. i really need to stop once i finish all the diet root beer in the house i keep telling my self to just pour it down the drain and be done with it but the addict in me says but we need the bubbles and sugar high. i even bough several bottles of carbonated Water and am trying to switch to those because surgery is in like two months
  24. i always bring my head phones with me anywhere ill be sitting around more than a half hour because of my adhd i get bored quickly and need something to distract me
