  1. I am not so happy with the staff at the Cherry Hill office.I couldn't get to see Dr. neff...Also does Dr Neff perform revision surgeries in one or 2 part procedures? Not feeling so great.
  2. Did you have slippage, hernia or band erosion in order to get revision approval?
  3. I may need to consider another dr.
  4. I have had my band in a longtime with problems.I was just about to ask how it feel like with Erosion...a bad taste in your mouth for example? No pain?
  5. How do you feel after a bypass? No dumping? How often do you have to see your doctor?Any GErd?I heard it gets worse with the sleeve.
  6. I am hoping I have evidence of slippage or erosion to show because I doubt they will cover a revision because I want them to based on my issues with the lapband.
  7. Did you get denied?I am also worried about getting approved. Its like they want you to be fifteen hundred pounds for approval :-(
  8. For revisions how long on average does one have to await approval?
  9. After having the problems with the band ,my body has been through war.Dumping is not something I would be looking forward to.
  10. I need a barium swallow.I have to wait 2 weeks for approval just for that....concerned.......
  11. Not finding very much in the way of doctors that accept this plan. Was told that I have to wait 2 weeks for an endoscopy/barium swallow
  12. This is why it is no body's business!!!I see a lot of overweight people in the medical profession. In doctors offices especially.I keep it very low, eyes and professional.I am not asking for the opinion of the staff...could care less. Also a lot of insecure women love it when other women are in the same overweight condition as they are.Insecurity.Do your thing!
  13. I think they want to quietly phase the band out....quietly.Real slick I may add.I see Governor Christie got the lapband...he has lost a significant amount of weight....if he had gotten the sleeve or Bypass it would be interesting to see the results in comparison.Like the rest of us he will see that the band is complicated...I myself never really lost a great amount of weight initially.I have become a grazer and a reluctant Bulimic because the vomiting when it does happen is unhealthy. My reflux and Gerd coupled with the vomiting is a secret hell.
  14. Is completely eliminated with RNY long term but returns with the sleeve?
  15. Guerrillas is completely eliminated with RNY long term but returns with the sleeve?
  16. Especially since insurance companies are not so wonderful these days...
  17. I am worried myself.I should of chosen the RNY back in 2004.I had the choice and I went with the lapband because it was the "new" less invasive way to go....In the end....not really...from what I can see the Sleeve seems to be working for a number of people.I need to take autoimmune drugs that I will be on for the rest of my life.Malabsorbtion is not an option .So I am sticking with the Sleeve...and I am just like you...scarred from the band eating ravenously when I can because I never know when I Am going to barf..,this is what we have become from having the band.It is a form of bulimia....thanks to the band and my food cravings and addictive personality.Go Sleeve and don't look back! You will get on track because that craving enzynme will be reduced.Keep me posted!
