I cannot do bread even almost burnt at two months out. I am not allowed lettuce until three months out and I recently shared a horrible story about tomatoes. What does that leave? Bacon. I have had bacon, both turkey and pork with my eggs, my burgers and even just by itself.
I would advise anyone with RNY not to attempt un-toasted bread any time in the first three months. Obviously some plans okay it but nothing has ever made me feel as miserable as a bite of whole wheat bread. Ugh.

I finally got my date it's November 19th at 3:30. I go for my pre op appointment on Tuesday. I'm a mix of emotions. I am excited and ready to start this but having some anxiety about the actual surgery. This will be my first time undergoing something of this nature. I am also curious how everyone felt right after and how long before you were up and around? I have 3 kids 2 of which I homeschool my husband will be home to help out for a week but after that he goes back to work, he is an over the road truck driver so I am hoping I am doing well by then.

First post here, I'm scheduled for November 12. I start shakes only on Wednesday.

Just got a date today! November 11th. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I have only shared my journey with my husband, 3 sons and one friend; none of whom 'get'it. I haven't really used this forum before today and today I need all of you. Good luck on your journey. I know we can do this together!

Sunstorm14760, my surgery date is also November 19!!! I am surprised, but the process was relatively easy, I was expecting a date no earlier than December. I hope that we can keep in touch I begin my pre-op semi liquid diet Nov 5th.

Hi, I'm new. I am having surgery on November 19th and I'm scared to death!!! Scared about the surgery and all of the changes. Glad to find this group!
P.S. - my doctor didn't mention a pre-op diet. Anyone else not having to do one?

My date is 11/2. On liquids now.

My surgery is 11/24/15. I am having the gastric by pass.

My date is November 2. I started my full liquid pre op diet today. So far, so good!

Hi!! My surgery date is 11/3!! I'm sooo excited!!

That sounds way easier!! I already drink 2shakes/day but I have 3teens at home plus a pregnant daughter.. I know it's going to be challenging!! But I know I can do this .. I'm soooo close!

What is your date in November? Mine is the 19th good luck.

Mine is also the 19th. I don't have a pre op diet just the liver reduction .

I will try the mint b12...thanks for the suggestion! I am excited for all of us with November surgery dates. Think we should start a Facebook group as others have done for people who share the same surgery month. Being able to message in real time with Facebook might be cool. Anyone interested in this?

I just tried the calcium chews from bariatric advantage and I totally agree the caramel is awesome I also like the raspberry. I just got a variety pack of Bariatric Fusion shake mixes I am trying all the flavors to see which one I would like to go with for my liquid reduction diet! Thanks for the info.

I will find out on the 29th for sure but my Dr said my surgery should be in November Im assuming the latter part though with insurance Good Luck to you guys, im excited for you
