Well, my sex life never sucked, even at my heaviest and now that I have lost my husband still treats me the same as he did before. I look at myself more and feel better about myself. Yeah, we have the treasure chest of toys and our friends always talk about 'the closet' :omg: But we don't use them as much as people would think. We just have a variety to choose from! I would talk to to your OB/Gyn or regular physician about it. There might be an underlying problem that you do not know about. I knew people that talked to there doctor and didn't feel depressed but were diagnosed as depressed and put on stuff like Paxil or Prozac and it gave them a new lease on life. You never know what can help. Pop in a porno and see how that works! Sometimes all it takes is that one long, deep, passionate kiss out of the blue that sends a shiver everywhere and gets the blood pumping. You know that feeling when you first met? That is the best when you get it back in one hot kiss or just a sweet glance that makes you blush from across the room. Stare for no reason...get him thinking. The sexy lingerie can work, change your hair, a different perfume, music...full face of make-up is sexy too with your hair done up sexy....and candles....set the mood and let everything fall into place. Even the most conservative get them!! I swore that I would never get one and it all started with a little one that was covered up on my back by my big one! Then I got the fever! They are very addictive!! But I totally understand! :biggrin1: Lots of pain on my back but my arms were fine..not alot of pain at all! It's scary at first! I know! I won 2nd place for back at the Live Fast 2005 Tattoo Convention in Houston, TX and it is published on Tattoo Directory under Best of 2005! I haven't put either arm in competition but I have thought about it. Hopefully the one on my back doesn't change but if it does a little I will just have to have more work done! Ok...I hope this comes out right...new at this...attaching pictures and all. The first picture is in June 4, 2005 (3 months prior to surgery) and the second is tonight January 30, 2006 (almost 5 months after surgery). I think the shirt in the first picture is a 20. And the outfit in the second is a size 14 pants (baggy!) and the shirt is an XL. I forgot to add that the clothes in the second picture ARE NOT from Lane Bryant like the first one. The pants are from Ross and the shirt is from Hot Topic! I have waited a few years to wear shirts from Hot Topic! And I will add pictures of my tattoos later...my back is covered and both upper arms are done.

Ok guys! I found some pictures on my computer the other night and my friends could not believe the difference. Therefore, I will be adding them as soon as I can!! This is just cool seeing everyone!

I think it's great that you are getting the attention...you deserve it! I am in the same boat as you...happily married!! And I think it makes a marriage and a sex life better!!! Because if you are getting cat-calls and it makes you feel more confident in yourself and feel more sexier, to me...it makes the sexy come out! I feel smaller in his arms and not as frumpy! Make sense? My husband and I are around alot of men because of the fact that he belongs to a motorcycle club and all of our friends, especially the men, tell me how great I look and that DH better watch out and treat me right or they are coming after me! :faint: That is a great compliment and I know they are teasing too so it makes for good fun! Don't be scared of it girl! Enjoy it! :clap2: Just wait until you change something else like your hair or your make-up even...they notice that too! :biggrin1: And along with the weightloss comes a new style...wear clothing that you would have never worn before...it is so worth it! :omg: Oh my goodness....Parvathi! Girl if you have the rhythm to 2-step then you can club dance. Everyone does something different, no one is the same. Although I do have the types of friends that love dirty dancing at clubs but then all you have to do is pretend to be making out on the dance floor!!! And DH loves it because they are women friends!!! LOL! SO just go out there and own it! Do what makes you feel good and the rest comes naturally. :biggrin1:

Heather.....I went to the Big Texas website and saw that they give free dance lessons on Saturdays, if you are interested check it out! Ok...I have no idea how to start this journal since I have never had a journal before! hmm! So! I am kind of at a loss for words and that never really happens to me. One thing I know for sure is that I am happy. I feel great, I have more energy and I catch myself looking the mirror more! Checking out the spots that are smaller! :clap2: Pretty much for now, I'm good...everything is coming along fine and the weight is coming off slowly and I am getting alot of compliments and WOW's! Which in turn I think might give me a bit of an ego boost but so what. I deserve it, right!? All in all so far a great start to a new year. More to come....

I haven't PB'd yet **knock on wood** But I have had the feeling of food getting stuck and that isn't fun either. I have just learned to stretch, walk around and breath...AND CHEW YOUR FOOD!!! That is one of my downfalls but I am better at it now! Just take your time and you will be ok.

Some of the country bars in Houston have days during the week where they have 2-step and line-dance lessons. You should call up a few and check it out. I know how you feel. My husband likes to 2-step (not fast dance) and I used to when I was around 19-20 but actually I have evolved and can hardly tolerate country music and for the pass 2 months we have been going to a bar in Webster called Big Texas and the more I drink the happier I am and I start to not pay attention to the music! :heh: I am more of a rocker now listening to bands like Seether, Evanesence and more adult alternative rock. Yeah I still like some of the older country from the early 90's but lately I haven't been that impressed. But I will run to the dance floor when they play dance music like the Black Eye Peas, Usher, etc. :dance: And I have to say that I was in the best shape of my life when I use to fast dance...so I look forward to the fast music coming on so I can get out there and dance!!:dance: And work up an awesome glisten (sweat is such a dirty word )! I hope you are able to go out with your hubby and dance the night away soon!

Geez! Poor thing...Sorry you had to go through all of that. Glad to hear you found a new doctor. Who are you using now? I went with Dr. Spivak and he was great. I have a friend who used Dr. Speigel for her Gastric Bypass and had some complications afterwards but is doing fine now and looks great! I haven't heard about any of the other local surgeons in the area though. Glad that you are doing well.

I had my surgery done at the Physicians SurgiCenter on Main St. in Houston and it was a great experience. No complaints at all. And they have their fill appointments there on Thursdays now. The first time I went for a fill it was really packed and now they have it down to a new routine and it was alot smoother. Not that it wasn't before but not as crowded. And no pain at all. As far as my length of stay there...I was home by 3:30pm and passed out! Afterward the surgery and waking up in recovery they do make you stay until you can drink a bottle of water SLOWLY to make sure you can keep it down and then you leave! Just make sure you take a pillow to lay across your stomach for the bumpy ride home...You know how Houston roads can be! It helps.
