Just tried on clothes from my brothers wedding in 2008 and they fit with room to move! I was at my smallest ever at his wedding! Very excited to have them fit me! Now I need somewhere to wear them!

Picked out and fit into a size 10 Jean from Costco! They don't have change rooms so you never know! I am super happy with the jeans, they are size 10 DKNY and were only 20$!

They had a bake sale at work today to raise money for a coworker who lost a loved one and I had to be the one to organize the goodies and go to 4 floors to get the donations and dole out the treats. Plus they were all in my office for the morning. The smell were great. I didn't even have a lick of one! True test of my determination during this process! Everyone was very impressed with my willpower as was I!

Just tried on a size 11/12 Miss Me jeans at Dillard's and they fit! No room left but they fit!! ????

Sent my mom and dad a pic today and my dads response was " I think I would walk right past you and not know you were my daughter!" Made me tear up!!! He is the sweetest! He did continue to say we looked wonderful!

I can relate to quite a few of these!!! The bat wings clapping for sure! Oh and when I go braless my boobs clap for me too! It's a sad state of affairs on my chest! I don't mind the bony parts though, makes me feel skinny! ????

I'm sitting at work cracking up reading this. I haven't experienced any of these issues yet as I'm only 6 weeks out and 35lbs lost in total from the liquid diet till today.

I never noticed I have coarse hair on my upper arm, but now that the surface area is smaller, all the little follicles have gotten together and become bushy friends. And I have added an ergonomic pillow to my office chair because I lost so much of my "natural" padding.

@@ShrinkingPeach The way I see it there's always a bright side, if I do something good I can just jump up and down and my body will clap for me!!!

Along these lines, I had to register my bat wings as lethal weapons! They slap me when showering while soaping up - ridiculous ????

My surgery was March 31,2015 and to date I am 110 pounds down. I started at 341lbs and today I weigh 229. Now I should be over the moon happy. My weight loss has been awesome, however I realize more now than ever there is so much more to losing weight because I feel more alone today than I ever felt at 341lbs. I'm sharing this to help anyone thinking about bariatric surgery to understands that the reality of not being able to eat through your feelings is hard. Worth it but hard. I just have to sit in the feeling of loneliness or whatever it is until it passes or I can sleep it off, even exercise helps but once the coping mechanism of overeating is gone things get real......fast. I knew this was a component of surgery and I thought I was prepared but I wasn't. Soooo one day at a time. But the struggle is real.

@@Kimcamm, thanks for your post, it really resonated with me. Sounds like you are doing the hard work neccessary to make sure you are successful, but I hear you. The struggle is so real to sit in feelings and manage them without using food.
I miss the relief that food used to give me, but I am finding I am in my body so much more now and am able to feel and let go of feelings easier and more quickly than when I stuffed them down with food.
Congratulations on your success thus far and with your attitude I know you will continue to thrive. Be kind to yourself, you are doing this!

@@Kimcamm you are so right! It is hard to get through the many emotions without the go to comfort food that we are used to. I used to eat whatever I wanted when feeling depressed or have a case of beer(that was bad) and now I can't do that anymore. Some foods don't agree with me and alcohol doesn't either. Learning to press on through those feelings without those is hard.
