Am I rambling like an addict?
I have been obsessed by watching cookery programs when I have dieted before. Like you I am not sure why I did this and I also cooked a lot too, baked cakes, made huge meals, had people over for dinner etc. Haven't done it since having the sleeve but its early days!

3 Days post-op, dealing with the swelling and gas
Sorry to burst your bubble but I looked pregnant until about week three I have a feeling having to inject myself in the belly twice a day for over two weeks didn't help. For others I am sure it went down on day two! What I am saying is, there is no rule to it. You sound as if you are doing great! Congrats on the surgery and speedy recovery.

What is your "scale" strategy?
I weigh every morning but if I don't lose for a couple of days I assume I am stalling and then stay off the scales for a bit.

Pre-Op Diet and the Monster Inside
I have had it a few times after surgery. It can be really loud lol!

Eating normal again
Short answer. By not sticking to the plan, not eating right, not exercising etc etc. The sleeve is a tool not a given. You have to work with it.

45 days since surgery 6 weeks 3 days out 52lbs lost 100g Protein, 70oz fluids and about 600 calories a day 1 day until I start at the gym 1 friend asked 3 times pre surgery, on liver diet week "Can't you just diet". 300 times I envisaged smashing her face into a brick wall, in slow motion (I am not usually violent!) 8 times I have cried this week for no reason at all 3 occasions hubby has sat me down and asked, "Can I help, I'll do anything" 1 suggestion that diamonds might help. 0 diamonds. 2 weeks of being back at work (I have a feeling this is tied into the crying) 3 dress sizes vanished. 2 poops a week 2 bra sizes lost (No cup size though!) 2 really good friends met through this site. Love the post @Kgl24 Best of luck in your upcoming surgery and speedy recovery

Any Experiences with Not Obeying Doctors Orders?
I have recently defied my NUT's advice. At 6 weeks introduce Pasta. Hell... no thanks
-
June 2015 sleevers
Listen to your team BUT also listen to your body. It's great that everyone can say what works for them but that might work for you. Vitamins water protein then veg if you can. My NUT said I should introduce some pasta now.... not in a million years! Don't agree with that at all so not about to do it ! Read the forums.. take a pinch of common sense and what your body is telling you and you will get there in the end. Best wishes!

Who gave you your date

How much protein & cals
I have been hitting 100g of Protein a day since about week 4 however I do still have 2 Protein drinks a day which I mix with Water not milk. Cottage cheese, high protein low fat greek yogurt, chicken, eggs, fish etc all add up nicely. At week 6 I am on 4 meals and 2 protein drinks a day. Works for me Added: about 500-600 calories a day although I am trying to up that and 72 oz water a day.

I hope the people reading this know how difficult it is to just keep reading one long sentence it hurts my eyes and so I have stopped reading them which is a shame as they might have something worth saying but on the other hand maybe they don't please give them some full stops @BigViffer Ta.

Taking pills
I'm not advised to have pills until month 4 either. I'd be happy to wait till month 6.

Sleeved August 12 headaches
You can have disolvable paracetamol. I had that after the surgery and it's been fine. My GP prescribed it for me after I left hospital. Just give it time for the bubbles to go down first!

How long did you wait to return to work?
I went in after four and a half weeks and was exhausted. I'm in my second week back and feel as if it's okay now. I have a very busy job though so thought it might be tough. Congrats on the surgery. .. Make sure you let us know how you are getting on ????
