Plastics January 9th 2017
I met with four surgeons over the past few months and finally chose who I wanted to do my surgery. It has been booked for a couple of weeks now but today I had all the paperwork through the post and opening it made it feel all so much more real. Having the WLS didn't bother me at all. This is a lot more and I have to admit to being a little (okay a LOT) scared. I am having an extended TT, extended BL and upper/lower eyelid surgery. Later in the year I will be having an inner thigh lift. My last son was 13llb's at birth and I ended up having an emergency section and can remember clearly how I felt walking and Im sure this will be a lot worse. What did you do to prepare? Did you buy anything special to have at home for afterwards? Are there any books you could recommend reading? Any Tips, stories or 'I found this helpful' would be gratefully received!! Kate (shaking in her shoes)

Waves of emotions
Same for me really. Sometimes I feel a bit of a fake as things have gone so well. I had a problem for a few months this year but well over it now and heading the right way again.

Undecided on what to do
Oh that lovely feeling when you sit in a plane and you clunk and click without an extender and then try to guess the inches overlap you have... I will never get over that !!

Undecided on what to do
I could lose weight, then I would gain it back plus a little, then I would lose it again, gain it back again plus a little.. and on and on. It's good that you are considering all options avaliable, read the forums, research, research and then research some more and then make an informed choice. That doesnt make you a 'punk' it makes you sensibe. Best of luck with your decision making and remember, WLS is a tool, not an answer. Really glad to see you here
