  2. @@mandapanda112200 It can really depend from person to person and also how much Protein you are eating in the meal. If I eat 2oz of chicken or fish I can get 3 or 4 bites of veg in, if its 3oz of chicken or fish then less veg. I have only recently added fruit to my meals/snacks but tend to have lower carb ones like raspberries and blackberries. I tried a small banana last month (although they are carb heavy), I really fancied one but two small bites in and I couldn't eat anymore. You might find your tastes have changed too
  3. Great birthday present Rosey... my surgery was the day after my 54th birthday. Greek yogurt with a dash of sugar free preserve sounds wonderful.. Just to be cautious (and maybe your team will say different) but try a preserve that doesnt have seeds in it. I was warned about seeds too early on. Congrats on the upcoming surgery and make sure you have a fab Christmas Day and Birthday Kate
  4. Congratulations !! You look FAB
  5. I agree with you 100%. I really enjoy my food now instead of aimlessly shoving it down my throat whist scooping up the next fork load... rinse and repeat.
  6. A bit of many things which will still keep me healthy and at my Protein goal, boring I know but hey ho. Im back for surgery on the 9th of January so keeping my eye on the final prize! This is the first time in 11 years we won't have a houseful, so im looking forward to snuggling up on the sofa and eating from my lap whilst we watch dreadful re-runs on the telly. Might even have a bit of cake
  7. @@_Kate_ woo hoo!! party dance GOAL!!! starting the new year with skin surgery life doesn't get much better than this!! keep up the great job good luck kathy congrats Thank you Kathy
  8. I just picked whatever was comfy and cheap .. I think at one point I had to buy 3 different sizes in one month so it wasn't worth spending too much.
  9. I had to stop my HRT Patches 6 weeks before the surgery and not use them for 6 weeks after. My husband was SO glad when I finally slapped that patch on lol. Bless him See if you can take anything else for the short term, im sure your GP will be able to help you. Best of luck !
  10. @@Anna Livia I am in England and my GP was very supportive both when I had the surgery and since (I did go private rather than wait 3 years or so). Don't feel shame, be proud that you want to do something about your health. It's no easy ride, believe me but so worth it. You might be surprised how supportive your Doctor is. The way the NHS is going, I wouldn't be shocked to see GP's recommending this for patients more often. In the long run it will save them a lot of money and their patients a lot of ill health. Win win situation. Hold your head high and good luck for Friday !!
  11. Grapes are quite high in sugar, its best to check with your team and stick to their recommendations. Congrats re the surgery !!

  18. I have gone down 5 bra sizes and only one cup size but they look like droopy ears. Hence the breast lift in January. whohooooooo.
