Well done Nikkei I was gonna say the next 70 lbs will be a piece of cake but realised cake might not help you lose. So I will say a piece of fruit.< /p>

I think you might have a lot of salt in your diet and lots of salt causes Water retention if so minimise your salt intake as much as you can and you may see about a 6 to 7 lb difference.

Sometimes our bodies just need that little bit extra it's ok from time to time. Don't feel bad when it happens always remember you got the rest of your life to lose the weight not a limited time like we have conditioned our minds to think.

I do agree with you but in the back of my mind I feel that if increase my food intake it will boost my heart rate and thus lose more weight afterwards.

Wls is a great tool but always remember it's just as much as a mind battle as it is a physical battle.

I think men lose faster just because they have a higher muscle mass.

I truly believe exercise if done well is much more powerful and effective then what people think. It firstly suppresses your appetite and secondly it keeps you on track with your eating and thirdly it speeds up your metabolism. So I believe it's much more then just making you healthy.

I know this sounds strange but my wife preferred more when I was 440 pounds. She tells me she felt more secure and now I dropped a lot she seems to get worried a bit.

Where was that thread that dealt with the issue it was about people complaining about losing a great amount of weight fast. I think losing too fast is a recipe for disaster as the chances of regain in the future would be very high. Taking it slow adapting good eating habits and exercise are the key to long term success.

I once worked in a donut shop and one day the boss told me to throw out a tray of about 20 donuts as they didn't sell for a few days. I took them round the back and started eating them when the boss came in there was about 4 left he saw me while I pretended I was throwing them in the bin he said why are you throwing them away one by one I just smiled.

    Well said Alex
This concept is very similar to when people say I am fat because of my genetics ignoring the fact that consume 5000 calories a day and don't blame their eating habits. My stalls in the past have been my fault I had extra calories creep in while I'll under estimate my total calories reduce exercise and wonder why I am stalling.

    Hi Lisa
Funny you mentioned this as I been wanting to give an update on this after a seven day trial. First thing is I felt like my energy levels were double that of what it was before. I did manage to lose 7lbs this week. I'm not sure if it was because of the evo or the extra hours I put in exercise. But it did give me an enegy boost.normaly I'm going at 3 to 4 lbs a week.
