  3. i started my journey march 23rd 2015 i started at 235 I'm currently at 190 and going hoping it does!! her are some picture of my so far progress!! first one is disneyland last year in May and the last three are from this weekend!!
  4. it shows u are a lap-band surgery u can get that out right?? or do you have the sleeve? I'm a bit confused and i went thru this around that same time as you it part of the anestesias and the shock from the surgery my doctors say and some of the support group here too. it does get better and restriction get better too just give it time... good luck!!

  6. Vomiting happen when you too much to eat or ate too fast....... take a small bite, wait a few minutes to see how your new tummy will Like or not and go from there if gets bad contact your doctor!!
  7. The only thing about driving is the seatbelt becomes uncomfortable on the incisions or if you brake hard you can hurt them just be careful when you drive!! And yeah when you are off the pain med you do get a DIU if the catch you driving after taking pain meds my doctor told me that!!
  8. Walking helps a lot and some people here have said heating pads too!! If anything call your surgeon too see what he suggests Hope you feel better
  9. Yup!! I was there too it goes away my surgeon said it also comes from coming off the anesthesia!! It will get better hang in there They gave me protonix for the acid reflux talk to your doctor and see what he recommends!!
  10. what do you do for exercise? What is your diet like? i have a lot of restriction still so two spoons I'm full so i have to drink 2 shakes at day to make up for the Protein i do drink a to of gatorade as per my doctor because i can't handle Water and exercise i only walk a lot specially at work i can do around 8,00 steps at day can't do much since i have a very bad back pain and is the main reason i did the surgery so i can get some relief from the weight off from my back.
  11. im 2 1/2 months out and still having problem getting Protein and fluids in it will get better the pain is maybe the gas walk as much as you can i remember having hiccups on day 3 and man it hurt like a b@#$% hahaha also laughing was a challenge it will get better!! best of luck and hope u get better soon!!
  12. i had it for two year after i had my daughter and 3 weeks after i was sleeved so i was devastated that it came back my doctor gave me protonix he says is normal for people with WLS to get GERD. good luck and maybe you will be one of the lucky ones that won't get it since u never had it before..
  13. thank you all it was just a moment but i after i came home from the doctor weighted my self and it was still 194 at my house lol so ill keep it to what mine says lol

  15. My surgery was 3/23/15 sw 235 cw 194 so 41 in 2 and half months

  17. So Monday I went to my regular doctors office visit and I weighted my first at home before I left and I was 194 but then when I got to the doctors office it read 198 I almost started crying lol why do scales play with our emotions!! . Hahah!!

  19. Have u tried vegan cookies from whole foods? I'm wondering if they good for our sleeve I've heard they taste amazing better than real cookies I might give them a try!
  20. I used to love sweet i will go to parties just to eat the cake lol ... but now after surgery my taste buds changed to not liking sweets in a way is good so i can stay away but i do miss having a good tasting cake or candy now even the Protein is too sweet for me and thats why I'm still having an issue with it but is getting better everyday!! i was sleeved a day before you 3/23/15 great tips btw!!
