well said Paul! very well said! agree 100% many people didn't realise that we got throw a whole big procedure, we got an anaisthesia, we got risks just to fall in any temptation! i will repeat it, the band is just a tool! we have to work HARD to change this eating disorder, we are prone to any temptation and thats why we are obese and we did this surgery! its a new chance and we have to stop sabotaging our new attempt!

hello friends! im not much arround lately cause im soo much busy but i have to announce proudly that i lost so far 65 pounds i think i must change my ticker i have long time to do it :clock: success and health to everyone

my 4+ nephew told me before one year that my breasts look like watermelons ..!!! i wanted to die

the fills over here is free for life. im 6 months out i didn't pay anything more than what i did for the surgery.

:raises hand 2: me too! its a personal decision and its noone's business if i have a ring arround my stomach! only my husband, my mom, my sister, and my best friend.. i just said im on diet!

im smoking and i quited only 2 days before the surgery, im not proud of this, the only problem i had after surgery was that i was coughing for 10 days. Thanks God i had a very good anaesthiologist.. I think two weeks before surgery would be better!

Dear leener, i think that you are prepared enough to do it! sounds like you are a serious person and you take your life serious! you sound like you did allready a good research about the whole process. and your fears are normal and we almost all had them before. i can only add that before the band i was suffering by sleap apnea, i had not regular menstruation, my self confidence was down of the earth, due to discrimination for obese people, i was feeling hopeless that i ll never get pregnant, and so on... Now i can sleep normally, and im HOPEfull.. yes i have HOPE that i can be pregnant someday because after surgery i have period every month.. after all i think i could have even an alien inside me to help me to lose weight! i only pray that i ll keep my band as more as i can! i hope i ll never have to remove it ... i wish you good luck what ever you will decide, but i think if you do it you will not regret it! me personally i wish i knew about it few years earlier! i'm on Xanax (0,5) and Seropram (dunno how it gets out in USA) i have been also in past on Paxil, Effexor but always with Xanax
