Diva-Li-Cious relaax i understand that being so long in some types of food is not that easy to decline them that easy.. it's not easy... i wouldn't try a steak .. no way.. i'm such a ..chicken lol... i would not! but why don't ya try some protein shakes? they give ya a feel of fullness and energy for hours! you would want 2 steaks to feel that energy! try soft eggs, tuna with 1 spoon light mayo, add slowly to your diet many many vegetables, legumes, etc. before the surgery i did not know they were excist so many foods in life! try to explore them one by one Good Luck!! the thing that you worry means that you care about your diet and you will accomplish your goals!!

Ms Tiffany i understand completely about the fear of failing.. i think i was afraid that more than the selfsame operation! i have done (like everybody) thousand diets, i had spend million to institutes to lose weight and the results were only GUILTIES for myself that i could not control my weight.. so when i did this operation i thought that maybe will be one more failed try... so far i have lost 18 kgr. and day by day i feel that this time it will not happen again.. i guess is a psychological fermentation... Good Luck on your surgery at 10 of Octomber! i start to believe that even if you try hard to fail in this one you just can't lovz

i do not want to .."advertise" my surgeon but im speechless about the price of the surgery in States & Mexico! OMG thats astronomical prices! my band and the surgery costed to me 3.500 euro .. almost 3.500 $ (hospital, surgeon, anaesthiologist + tests + free fills for life!) and i still believe i paid too much...

im -38 lbr! i had only 1 pb, and one fainting episode cause i had not eat that day at all :S i eat everything in small amounts except of bread, rice, pasta, sweets and alchol. i do not exercise much though Good Luck to all July Bandsters :)

Im 2 months out and i confess that i diet. I do not eat sweets, i do not eat bread, pastas, rices and i try to avoid high carb foods. I quited fruit juices also. i want or lets say i need, to be on my goal in one year! i don't wanna be miserable anymore.. i did a surgery for weight loss and i took a risk, i spend money for the band so i think i must do something too.. this is how i feel and its only my opinion.. i must work also with the band .. not let only the band work for me.

Andrea, everybody has other surgeon so everybody follows their doctors line, my opinion is to follow your doctors orders because everyone is different. He only knows your needs! As about the shoulder pains is normal after surgery because of the gas they used for the operation! it will fade in a week or sooner if you start walking Hang in there! everything will be fine! p.s. My doctor also had me on Clear Liquids for 15 days but i confess that i did this diet only one week.. after a week i started eating cremes, and yogurts, but slowly and i just waited for signals from my band.. about PB i had one before a week, its like vommiting.. not exactly ..i think i had.. i'm new too to this journey, i would not like to say something thats not correct! Do not worry so much! if you follow the rules of Band you will not experience this.. Lovz

today i saw a friends belly that she did it before 1 1/2 year and she lost all her overweight! i just saw a little knob at the place of the port! really nothin important! and as she said its only visable when she lays down..

Hello Andy! Congratulations for your surgery! i lost also 6 kgr the 1st week! I guess you still feel some pain, but don't worry next week will pass to history :-) my procedure cost me 2.500 euro it was 7.000 euro totally (band+surgeon,hospital,tests,anesthegiologist) but my insurance covered 4.500 euro. and of course the fills will be free. i had my 1st one before 4 days.. i feel wonderful so far!
