I Love My Coffee
I have to be honest and say I drank it up until 2 days before without issue, but that's just me and I was bad on my pre-op diet, I wouldn't suggest it.

Maybe I am atypical, but the sleeve didn't help with hunger
I eat a lot of carbs, I don't pay attention to what I eat, just how many calories. That's my biggest addiction right now and I am struggling

Goodbye to beer and pizza?
I love beer, all beer. Before surgery, I completed a couple beer tours at my local pizza place ( that's 220 beers). Post surgery, no fun no more. I drink a few sips, and that's enough, you can't even drink enough to get a happy buzz before it becomes uncomfortable. Beer is fattening anyway, I don't miss it day to day.

Those in the maintaining stage, what's your go-to fast sleeve sized meal?
Oh are those the nut/ham/cheese packs? I saw those at the store yesterday, just a bit spendy for what you get... I got a lunch able instead and some cute tiny spaghettios, kind of naughty.

I love the quiche squares idea, what kind of unflavored protein powder do you use?

Chewable Vitamins during Post-op Liquid Stage?

What's the first food you cheated with after Gastric Sleeve Surgery?
First day back at work-6days after surgery- they gave out gourmet cupcakes. I picked at this chocolate cupcake all day, it was so good and naughty

I Love My Coffee
You won't have to give it up for long, I went back on it a couple weeks after. In fact, I am heading out soon to get a grande something!

Lying to feel better?!?
I agree with being honest, there should be a website/thread where people post pics of themselves and get back honest, constructive feedback. I would want to know if my clothes were so tight someone noticed my pubes-lol.

Food
I ate popcorn 5 days later, grounded to a paste

Coconut Water ?
I went to Mexico to get mine and coconut water was something I could drink right after. I normally hate it, but it was the very best thing in the world right after surgery, it made everything feel good, easier to drink than water, and better than broth.

Maybe I am atypical, but the sleeve didn't help with hunger
I don't really understand the concept of 'head hunger' when I'm hungry, I eat, it goes away. I don't see the idea of it. Except sometime I think I can eat a whole cow, and it only takes a few bites before I am good....

My sleeve surgery at 15
Nice, you are young and it should be pretty easy to lose a ton of weight, I wouldn't worry at all, I wish I had this done when I was 15! don't forget to exercise and you can't go wrong..

Depression and anxiety
Yes, it was quitting smoking.. That tore me up, and not having sweets on top of it made it worse. Take it one day at a time. It will bbe so good for you. Smoking is horrible on the stomach, and increases chances of complications in before/after surgery, keep up the good work and look towards the future.

It's like CHOOSING to GET pregnant!? LOW BMI-er here
Low bmi-re checkin in. My boobs went first, I am still trying to find the correct bra size. My knees feel better. It's still hard to lose weight, you will have to work at it. You won't see the 50 led drop in 2 months. Socially, I've gotten used to it. At restaurants, I pick at my food, move it around, fake disgust, box it up and leave..no one really notices or cares. I don't regret my decision, I know I've dodged some major health issues. I know I will never be a stick, I just look more normal and less 'American'

Is it CHEATING or is it a CHOICE?
Honestly, I think some people like a good kick in the balls, it's motivation!

Maybe I am atypical, but the sleeve didn't help with hunger
In the waiting room to get my surgery I had heard a whole group talking about being glad they won't have to deal with excessive hunger anymore, and how they know so and so that had it done and now have to remind themselves to eat. I did the research and it was interesting about the hunger hormone cells being removed with stomach and the chance of going away. For me, nope nope nope no and oh hell no. I am hungry all the freakin time, I am hungry 2 hrs after I eat anything. I've gotten into a snacking little rut I am trying to break, but dang- I myth busted that for myself. Maybe I need more protein, but that would of helped the hunger before surgery as well, there is no change whatsoever. Only thing that changed is the size, good thing there are not enough hours in the day to eat that much.

Feeling sick after eating
What kind of antacid are you on? That could be a major player in this situation. You should really expect the puking part at your stage, nice, thick creamy foamy puke. Good luck

Mirror, Mirror...
I feel the same way, I weighed the same as my skinniest weight ever, but all I see is fat. It occurred to me though that I had much nicer hair back in the day,it was a bluish black...maybe all you need is a spunky new haircut/hair color...

Soooo close but....
You could do a colon cleanse and a sauna session, or just be proud that you are going in the right direction.
