  5. Not that I'm pushing beer but have you tried any of the nitro beers? I'm wondering if they would be okay in small amounts? I have had a sip of Angry Orchard and I thought I'd just die. The pain was to much. I couldn't even burp. Just the other day I had a sip of my wife's coke and the same thing happened. I just don't need it. I like bourbon more now.

  13. Just finished a Cain Daytona. Nothing beats a good cigar. No issue so far with cigars for me.
  14. Just a note to say that after 120lbs lost things are very different. I'm like a new man. I'd say 3" difference.
  15. Well.. I'm 8 months or so out and pizza is no problem at all. I just eat 1 piece at most. Beer out and I don't miss it at all. Carbonated drinks are just to painful. Don't need them at all. I do drink whisky though. It fills the void very well.
  16. I was wearing 46/48 and now I'm in 38s. So good. I'd be happy at 36/38.

  20. I didn't have much issue with this. I was on my back a couple days then my side a couple days then I was on my belly like normal. I was aware of my stitches and I made careful moves in the night but all in all, it was nothing for me to worry about.
  21. Almost 2 months since my sleeve. I've never felt better. 40lbs lost (80lbs since my journey started). My knees feel good. About to start training for my first 5k. Best of luck.
  22. I think that there is a nutrition class every Thursday at 1pm and a support class every Thursday just after at 2pm. I went last Thursday to the nutrition class but Gal was on vacation. I'll try and go this week if I can.
  23. What quantity did you start with? 1 or 2 eggs? Not sure what will fit but curious what others eat.
  24. Most break the Post-Op diet into 4 Phases. Each doctor is different. If you know which doctor you'll have in Mexico, I'll bet someone here can chime in more. Phase 1 - Clear Liquids (Just after surgery. Some are a week... mine was 3 days) Phase 2 - Full Liquids / pureed (2 weeks for me. Some are 1 month) Phase 3 - Soft foods (Anything you can mush with a fork.) (Mine is 1 month) Phase 4 - Maintenance Phase (Normal foods introduced slowly and you are off and running a normal life) (Forever)
  25. Hello Orlando peeps, I didn't even know we had a locals part of this site until just now. My name is James. I had my sleeve done by Dr. Jawad on June 25th. It was a great experience. I was only in the hospital over night. My pain is minimal and I was back sitting at my desk in 3 working days (+ a weekend). I'll be getting my staples out Monday. Can't wait. Perhaps I'll see some of you at the group meeting in a week.

  27. Surgery complete. 1 week into Phase 2. Pizza is the first thing I craved. It's those stupid Pizza Hut hotdog crust commercials, lol. I'll be fine. Just thought it was funny.
  28. I use MyFitnessPal. Well... Just started again. I'm BigDaddyJG. I had my sleeve on June 25th. I think I'm doing pretty good. I get my Water in and Protein has seemed to be pretty easy. So far my day looks like this. Breakfast: - 8oz (takes about 30+ mins to drink) in a to go cup, of
