  14. I don't count calories. I'm just drinking 2 protein shakes a day which are 160 calories each and about 60 oz water. I have a yogurt and a cheese stick and some chicken broth or tuna salad.
  15. I haven't been walking either. At work, I don't even have a chance to go out and walk. It's been so busy. I barely get up to go to the bathroom and to get some water. I'm still at a stall - I think it's been 2 weeks now with no loss - I gained 3 lbs wth? I'm so upset I don't even want to weigh myself anymore. I have PCOS and I have been struggling with my weight for the past 7 years. I wasn't diagnosed with it until 3 years ago. I was put on Metformin and Spironolactone and finally my scale stopped going up. But I couldn't lose. I stayed the same weight for the last 2.5 years. I finally had surgery on 10/17 lost the first 2 weeks and once I went back to work, I have not lost anything. I started taking my Metformin and Spironolactone again 2 days ago. Will see my surgeon on Friday. I won't be weighing myself until then.

  23. RomAnca posted a topic in Singles Forum
I was sleeved on 10/17/17. Thought I'd start a topic on NYC singles. I'll start with my info and if anyone is interested in hoping on you're more than welcome. I'm 45, single mother to 2 boys (23 and 7).
  24. I have PCOS as well. I was told to stop the Metformin and Spironolactone after surgery but I started them again this morning. I have been at a stall for the last 10 days. And to top it off gained 3 lbs. UGH
  25. OMG I have the same issue. I was sleeved 10/17/17 and today marks 3 weeks since surgery. I lost 26 lbs including the pre op but hit a stall about 10 days ago. On Friday I weighed myself and went up 3 lbs. I'm so upset I want to cry. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I follow the plan to the T and still. I'm seeing my surgeon on Friday, will see what he says.
  26. Hi Rachel, have you lost any weight once you started back on the pills? I was on Metformin and Spironolactone before surgery but was told to stop after. My surgery was 10/17/17 and lost 16 lbs during the first week and a half. I've been at a stall for the last 10 days and even gained 3 lbs. I'm still in the pureed stage and I don't know if I should start the metformin and spiro again.
  27. Thank you for the encouragement. I upped my protein to an extra protein shake at night. Let's see if that helps.
  28. I'm also stuck. I don't know why, but I upped my protein and today I was down 0.3 lbs. I know it's nothing but I can't deal with the scale going up anymore. Sorry to hear you had a few hiccups. But thankfully, you're over it now and able to focus on the new you.
  29. That's amazing. You're down 66 lbs! you're half way there. I'm struggling to get my protein in. I see my dr. on the 10th and I guess he's going to clear me for the next stage, whatever that may be. I'm on pureed stage now but I'm allowed chicken salad, tuna salad, eggs. I of course puree them so there are no solid pieces and I also chew about 20 times before swallowing. Do you have any hunger? I have none.
  30. Hi All, Didn't see an October Post Op thread so I figured I'd start one. I was sleeved on Oct. 17,2017. I had no complications, only pain I dealt with was the gas that was stuck in my rib/chest area for about 4 days. I didn't have any nausea or vomiting and have been doing great. Only frustrating thing is I hit a stall about 10 days ago and the scale hasn't moved yet. How's everyone doing?
  31. Hi all, Surgery on 10/17 went well, no complications. Stayed in the hospital overnight. Only pain I had was the gas that was stuck in my ribcage/chest area which subsided by day 4. I lost 15 lbs since surgery and have hit a stall. I haven't lost any more weight for the last 10 days. I know everyone hits a stall between week 2-4 post op, but it's so frustrating. How's everyone else doing?
  32. Just got the call. I have to be at the hospital at 10:30 am.
  33. OMG me too. Does that make us weird? LOL GOOD LUCK!!!!!
  34. Good Luck to you as well. You might be the first to go. See you on the other side.
  35. Ugh no they haven't called yet. ON the paper it says between 12-6 pm. I'm about to call that number as it says "if you're not home between those times to call the number after 12" lol
