  1. You should stop constantly weighing yourself! That will help eliminate some of that stress! Just follow your plan and let your body do its job. Our bodies aren't on the same "weight loss schedule" that we want them to be on all the time. You are doing very good and you will get there in your own sweet time. Don't stress!
  2. @@DionVSGme Your doing fine! Sometimes our surgeons need to be reminded that we aren't all made out of cookie molds, our bodies are going to do what they darn well please no matter how much we "shame"'them. As long as you are doing what your suppose to and following your surgeons rules then he/she will Just have to follow our bodies process! Don't let them make you feel bad, you just focus on that protein and water!
  3. Congrats on getting a date. It's exciting!
  4. Slow is ok! Keep it up!
  5. Good luck! Hope the wait is short!
  6. @@Sassy Little Redhead Oh well, they will get over it or not eat with you if its so horrific for them : )
  7. @@My Bariatric Life Hope you have a good recovery! It always amazes me that people have lip injections! I always hated my big kisser growing up until the girl at the Mac counter told me to just hush " people pay to have lips like that" of course I was younger was like yeah right! Well I guess they do! Congratulations, have fun picking out lipstick.
  8. Find yourself a hobby! Something you can do now and after surgery!
  9. See all that "playing hard to get" paid off!! Ha! Yay! I hope they get the move on!
  10. Every surgeon has his/her own pre-op Requirements that they feel is "right" . Yours is a nice easy one : )
  11. @@CharlotteWebb The sleeve is a great option and if that's the safest surgery for you then don't be upset. There are tons of people who would love to have this surgery and can't. Since this is a new procedure to you just spend some time researching it. You can find out all kinds of info, Internet, youtube, reading ect...and you always have the option of not having it done at all if your against it. No need to upset yourself!
  12. They have liquid vitamins but my surgeon didn't care that my vitamins are chewable he just wanted me to get them in and I was ok with them. They pretty much dissolve in your mouth once chewed really well any way. Same with my calcium and b-12 is a sublingual dot that dissolves under the tongue. If you have chewable just ask the surgeon.
  13. No, you REALLY don't! You've made it this far kick the willpower in high and get it done!
  14. Your Dr will give you a time frame , probably in your discharge instructions from the hospital. Just like with anything else of personal nature it will be based on how you feel and how you recover. Everybody is different so You probably won't get an exact answer on here. I don't put my husbands and I's love life out for public display but just know that you will know when it's time. : )@@alyssa9409
  15. @@ojibway Oh that's normal! Soon it will be over and you will be concentrating that nervousness on learning your new "baby"! Hang in there!
  16. Well in a round about way...I have BCBS Fed and my requirements where to have a BMI of 40 documented for 2 years. I didn't have a BMI of 40 in fact my BMI's that were documented were 32-35 ish I did however have Exactly 40 at my first weigh in with my surgeon after gaining 5 lbs to qualify. The insurance companies are weird little creatures. I worried myself sick that that would be just the ticket they needed to deny me but I was approved 1st time around so it's really hard to say. I also had no comorbidities. Try not to stress too much.@@Toodie1974
  17. @@ShellyBellyIowa Congrats! And yay for a easy recovery!
