  1. Weight loss has been very slow since my one year sleeviversary. I got hurt at work and have been unable to exercise. It's very frustrating but at least I have not gained.

Congratulations on not having gained. Great achievement if you are unable to exercise. Hope you heal soon and can get back to exercising.

  2. my one year sleeviversary is Friday....been stalled at 240 for some time now. Any suggestions on how to break my stall?!?!

I wish I knew! I've been stuck at 265 for 5 months now. No gains but no losses either. Incredibly frustrating!

I stall a lot! If it lasts more than 2 or 3 weeks I try to look at what I am doing and of course find that I left something sneak into my diet that shouldn't be there. Are you tracking everything in a tracker like Myfitnesspal? It might help you see what could be the culprit.

I also noticed just changing what I am eating in a day. I am sometimes a creature of habit and will eat the same thing day in and day out. When I stall for a period of time I know I have to change it up again.

Congratulations on your anniversary. That year went by fast. I remember when you were going to have your surgery.

I've only been averaging 5-8lb loses a month!, So consider yourself lucky.

I'm finishing up 2 weeks at the gym tomorrow and I've been going 4 times a week for 1-2hrs at a time and really have seen no significant weight loss. And I've been low carb and watching what I eat *eye roll*. I don't get it.

I count every sinking pound I lost from my highest current. In the midst of a wicked steal that's going on 3 weeks now. Grrr.

    4. Packerfan61964

      Packerfan61964

Weight loss is a tricky monster HalloweenBaby. I know people who dont eat right or exercise and they lose quite a bit rather quickly others don't. I've noticed for me anyways that make caloric intake needs to be around the 1000-1200 range and I need at least 48 oz of water and 80-100 grams of protein. Try to keep your chin up and not get discouraged......I know that's not an easy task cuz I fight with that every single day. Any loss is better than any gain is what I keep telling myself. I didn't get fat overnight and I won't get skinny overnight.

  12. ALMOST to the halfway point of my journey!! woo hoo!!!!

  13. posted a collage pic of my journey's progress so far!!!

      what's a NSVs???

    3. built2livenotexist

Non scale victories! Loose clothing/buying new smaller clothes, being able to cross legs or not having to use handicapped bathroom stall to be able to manure wiping, not being winded walking up stairs, people being able to put their arms around you all the way...etc. Noticing these things or keeping them in mind really helped me when the scale wouldn't budge during my first stall

    4. Packerfan61964

      Packerfan61964

I havent tried the stairs yet. All the others, I have accomplished. I go back to school on January 19 and I really wanted to lose 80 lbs before school started. I am 16 lbs away from that. Hope it ends soon!!!!1

I completely understand!! Last night I had cucumbers, cream cheese with smoked salmon...It stayed down :) then i made protein balls that had peanut butter, honey, oats, unsweetened coconut and chocolate chips. they are amazing. Keep up the good work! Hope you find something that will cooperate :)

    3. Packerfan61964

      Packerfan61964

i love peanut butter BUT now it doesnt love me!! My NUT told me to be patient, that frothing was a way to tell my body that it wasnt ready to digest what I was giving it.
