Looks like no one has updated in a while. I hope you guys do! I hit 40lbs. I was so excited! Where is everyone
  4. My daughter is 8 she knows and has seen me change so far. She comments mom you look skinny. Lol but she doesn't care either way it seems lol my son will be 4 next month he's oblivious as some men are lol
  5. Definitely true! I was surprised when my boyfriend said those things. It's nice that your docs office have that information because mine didn't say anything about it. It all makes sense but until it was happening to me I didn't even think about it.
  6. Sleeved 9/22. I eat softer foods but am in solids. Protein first and have introduced veggies. Softer ones cooked like zucchini and broccoli. I do eat salad a lot. I chew it good and my sleeve handles it very well. I too battles with the uncomfortable full feeling but it seems to Get better and you just kind of know. I eat slowly and take breaks. Tonight for dinner had tuna with light mayo. Maybe ate half the can at most probably closer to 1/4. As soon as I start to feel full I stop. If I feel like what I've eaten is settled I may indulge in another bite. I just listen to the signs of my body. I noticed I used to get one hiccup when I was reaching the to full feeling. Now that's stopped because I seem to know before that now. I do get hungry. I feel an empty growling feeling. It's all about listening to my body more.

Yeah that's the hard part. I was used to The artificial sweeteners so using sugar free sweeteners or "skinny" at Starbucks isn't a change for me. I do miss diet soda though! It's very hard for me. But I'm surviving!

How's everyone doing? I'm great! Down 30lbs. 50 more to go! I'm doing good with food and know my limits better and better as time goes on. Not having many issues with food. I did vomit once. I roasted Brussels sprouts and they did not settle well. Haven't tried since lol Im enjoying this new life. I do miss carbs but it hasn't been as hard as I thought! Ps I have one chin!! Hahaha

Forgive me for I have sinned

You're fine! Enjoy your treat and get back to it! Maybe adding some healthy carbs back into your diet may stop the fast weight loss. Don't beat yourself up. We are all human plus it's all moderation. You deserve it after all the hard work you've done!
  11. I love my men with some extra fat! Lol my boyfriend is 6'4 but about 280 he's cute and has a big belly and he enjoys eating my leftovers hahaha! But no really when I decided to get the surgery he became distant and finally I said something to him. He admitted he was afraid id leave him after losing weight. I've always been confident in my size maybe not at my happiest but I always thought I had a pretty face and I dressed for my size appropriately and tried to look nice. I'm 7 weeks post op now and 30lbs down. I've noticed more looks and the compliments are amazing! He is back to normal now. Telling me things like...damn it your boobs are smaller haha joking of course with disappointment. But he compliments me a lot too so I think he's enjoying the weight loss more than he thought he would. So far it hasn't had an impact but I do wonder. Especially when more and more people notice. I have 50 lbs left to goal and he tells me all the time that's too much. Well see but yes I truly believe woman are more inclined to like the cute fat boys then the guys are inclined to like the cute car girls.

Don't know what to eat :(

I eat a lot of salad...usually with tuna, chicken or some kind of protein added. For snacks I eat nuts or string cheese or laughing cow. Dinner it ranges. Ground beef or turkey stuff in zucchini boats...meatballs...fish...chicken pretty much anything in the meat family. I use sauces to make it wet and easier to digest. No shakes anymore I have them for a fast breakfast etc but I try to get my protein from food. I'm the same also a good 4 bites and I'm full. I keep track of my protein and calories with my fitness pal. I have it set to 1000 and usually don't hit it. Hope that helps!

My doc and nutritionist said a month and I can have coffee I'm a few days off and had some today! Mixed with some sugar free creamer and it was amazing lol
  14. Keepingmysecrets I'm not a doctor so definitely talk to them first but I had a little bit of coffee one morning. I had not gone in over 5 days and I was taking my colace twice a day with no relief but after I had those few sips of coffee I went! And did that for a couple days and I've been regular ever since. So much so I had the runs and had to stop the colace. Maybe not something you want to do but coffee isn't fattening and I added a little sugar free vanilla creamer to it but it helped me! Just a thought!
  15. @@mamaofmatthew yes I have pain every time I eat or drink. It's very discouraging and nope doesn't last long but it's uncomfortable for a little bit. I just keep hoping it will get better.
