  1. Thank you @@Babbs that really means a lot! ????
  2. Welcome @@mrs.rudy2 and congrats on making the decision to have the surgery! We all are here seeking the healthy life you are hoping for, so I wish you the best of luck! You're young and you have a good long life ahead of you! I can't help on how to go about choosing a doctor question, as in my program I too must use their in house surgeon. But I'm quite happy with who I ended up with.
  3. Welcome! I'm still pre op, but I wish I hadn't worried so much about getting through the approval process. I swear I invented things to worry about along the way! And I hope to never take for granted this second chance I've been given. Honestly, right now I feel like the luckiest woman in the world. And that alone is worth everything I had to go through to get here!
  4. 50 BMI without a comorbidity is so ridiculously high. The majority I've seen is 40 BMI without. That is such a shame that you have to stay on the BP meds you no longer need just to qualify. Mine is 40 without. I never would have qualified otherwise. It's heartbreaking when we're all trying so hard to get healthy, after trying and failing at every other option, before even considering surgery. I'm glad that you're almost there. Congrats and good luck!
  5. @@tomi71 a fellow X-File fan! Did you know that Mulder and Scully will be making a limited return? Not sure exactly when, or how many episodes, but I heard it's been confirmed. Not a remake either, actually with Ducovney and Anderson!
  6. Congrats on your amazing success with the revision! I'm so happy you were able to get a new lease on life. And going from a 2X to an XL is stupendous!
  7. Impressive stats! It's obvious that your hard work is paying off. Congrats!
  8. You're looking great! The difference is very apparent! Love hearing about the renewed energy too, as I'm really hoping for the same result. Congrats!
  9. @@Daisee68 How are you feeling today? I was worried about you. Hope the pain is better. Let us know.
  10. Congrats on your successful surgery and weight loss. And love your topic title. ????
  11. @@Sajijoma Your kids are lucky to have you as a mom. You will get healthy and go on to see them grow up and be surrounded by grandkids and great grandkids. You're an inspiration!
  12. Good luck and congrats on your surgery day!
  13. I've had kidney stones more than once too. By the second time you're pretty sure of the symptoms. It could be that or gallstones as the other poster indicated, which is common after surgery. If you still experiencing that extreme amount of pain after this long I'd seriously consider the ER. Sure hope you feel better and be safe!
  14. I'm Kaiser too and my surgery is on 07/29. If you made it through Options it's extremely rare to be denied. Hang in there!
  15. There's so much inspiration pics here it's hard to know where to look first! You guys all look fantastic!
  16. That is a refreshing way to look at things. Words to live by. Thanks!
  17. Waiting is never easy, but you are that much closer to surgery! You'll be surprised how fast the time will fly by. Congrats!
  18. Welcome! Congrats on your upcoming surgery!
  19. Good news on the diet front! I truly feel for the ones that have to do it for weeks. Mine will only be one day. Congrats and best wishes!
  20. Great to hear you came through safely. Get some rest!
  21. You're really glowing! You've made wonderful progress and look beautiful. Congrats on your upcoming marriage as well!
  22. Wow, tomorrow is a popular day! So beyond happy for each and every one of you!
