  1. Sounds like a great number to me. Congrats on your success!
  2. I couldn't think of a better birthday present! Congratulations! ????
  3. If I was only to communicate when I was calm, composed, and not under physical duress, I'd never have a conversation again. Then again my idea of physical duress is putting my shoes on. ????
  4. The good news is it's not actually a denial, just a postponement. I know it's heartbreaking to think of an additional six months of requirements and waiting, but use the hope of a new healthy life as inspiration. You'll be surprised how fast the time will fly by! Good luck!
  5. Words to live by. Thanks for sharing!
  6. Ha! Is that the sort of sound you make when your bare backside meets the cold operating table! ???? We'll be waiting for you! Good luck!
  7. Lovely results @tklady143 and @ajruper. Very noticeable differences!
  8. I'm so terribly sorry that your hopes have been dashed. I wish there was something I could say to make it better.
  9. Awesome! Perfect day for a life reboot!
  10. Hang in there! You've had a rough start, but you're going to improve day by day. And your weight loss even this early out is dramatic. Good luck!
  11. @@Copper Top So great to hear that you had such a positive experience and outcome. Your future is bright!
  12. @@Running2theSleeve not sure if you were asking me that question. But sorry, I don't know. I wasn't required to do those tests. You'd need to ask your doctor/surgeon. I haven't been diagnosed officially with GERD, but I do get heartburn now, and I don't want chance it being made worse, or having to have a revision later. Plus my father suffered terribly with it, and I just don't want to chance going down road. Good luck!
  13. Agree with you, there's nothing worse! After finishing my requirements it took a couple of weeks before getting my approval, and then a couple more weeks to get my date. Got my date at the end of June and then had to wait another month for surgery, which is next week. It's enough to drive you crazy. Hope you hear soon! Good luck!
  14. Congrats on the downsizing! And this is only the beginning!
  15. Glad you're enjoying you're trip!
  16. Congratulations on your surgery date!
  17. Congrats to you too @@LaLaLucy !
  18. Welcome. My surgery will be on the 29th so I can't give you a post op perspective. Just wanted to say hi and good luck!
  19. Congrats on approval and getting a surgery date!
  20. You be safe, Kate. Get some rest tonight. And yep, mine is next week. We can compare war wounds. ????
  21. I'm so thrilled for you, Kate! It's finally your day! And your birthday happening too is so appropriate. This is the start of a brand new life and you truly deserve it! It's perfectly normal to be a little emotional, but keep that goal of a healthy happy life in sight, as I know you're already doing. You've got this! You've worked hard to get here. So go forth and be sleeved my friend. We'll be waiting here for you when you get back. My thoughts and prayers will be with you! Hugs and best wishes!!'
