Psychological Consult
Mine was extremely easy. No written tests. Just a short one on one talk. She asked about my family history, weight history, support system, my understanding of the surgery and my ultimate expectations after surgery. I was completely at ease and she let me know at the end that she would be recommending me for surgery.

June 29th Bypass Surgery
@@TeeNahh I've had kidney stones twice in my life. It's an intense stabbing pain in the back on the lower side. It's a constant pain that takes your breath away in intensity. You can't sit still or find relief in any position. It doesn't go away or wan in pain level. went to the emergency room both times, where they had to administer pain meds. I eventually passed the stone both times. I hope you feel better soon.

Awesomely uneventful 2 years
That is simply amazing to go from the prospect of a possible heart transplant to where you are now. It sounds like in your case getting the surgery was the equivalent of saving your life, quite literally. That's an incredible turnaround! Yes, I'm definitely ready to go. Excited and oddly, remarkably calm. Hope that lasts up to the point where I'm being wheeled in! Can't wait to join you on the loser's bench!
