Surgery 7 days before my Birthday

So, my birthday is September 28th and my procedure is scheduled for September 21st. How will I get through that? What do I do?

Pudding or yogurt with a candle in it?

Think of it as your New "Birth" day. You didn't eat much on your actual birthday and for sometime after that. :D

there will always being something happening before WLS like holidays, vacations, retirements etc. so you have to be mentally ready. Remember, Thanksgiving (or any other holiday) is just another day compared to the start of your "New" healthier life.

(I just started my liquid diet Monday and trying to stay positive-getting great support from family via encouraging phone calls)

I couldn't think of a better birthday present! Congratulations! ????
