  1. Thanks @@pink dahlia and @@choosehope I will check into those. Appreciate the suggestions!
  2. I would agree. Better safe than sorry. Hope you feel better soon.
  3. What type of adult coloring books do you guys use? I bought a couple off of eBay, but I wasn't happy with the quality. Do you have any recommendations?
  4. Welcome Katie! I hope your journey speeds up soon. You have found a great place here for support and information. Good luck!
  5. Glad things are going so swimmingly at 10 days out!
  6. Wow that's a great turnaround - congrats!
  7. Congrats on your surgery and good luck!
  8. Congrats on your approval and best wishes!
  9. It's just one pebble in a gravel pit when you get right down to it. One misstep doesn't discount all the ground you've already covered. You've learned from the experience and paid a price too, so it's time to move on. ????
  10. Too funny! Could be an academic senior. That makes you wiser not older. ????
  11. I'm arranging for help the first week, just in case. I'm also having someone take care of my dogs outside my house. I'd rather have it in place and not need it then the other way around. I figure I can always cut back on help days and bring my dogs home if I feel up to it later.
  12. There's also Fooducate but I prefer My Fitness Pal.
  13. Welcome aboard and good luck with your journey. This is a wonderful place to ask questions and find support!
  14. What better way to start your weekend off than the promise of a brand new healthy life! Congratulations and best wishes!
  15. Welcome! The turn around you've experienced so far in your health and quality of living is remarkable. I'm sure that each and every day from here on out will only bring you even more confidence and happiness. Congratulations and best wishes!
  16. Congratulations on your weight loss!
  17. It's great to know everything went fine. Congratulations!
  18. @@pink dahlia Thank you, and congrats on your success! ????
  19. Hey, I'm a 07/29 bypass too, so I know exactly how you're feeling. I just keep reminding myself of all the reasons why I sought out surgery in the first place. And remember to breathe! Which is easier said than done, I know. Funny how the last few days leading up to surgery sometimes feel like the most stressful of all. We're going to do fine.
  20. Congrats on your big decision! I'm Kaiser too. Southern CA San Diego area. A graduate of their options program, and scheduled for surgery next week. The time will fly by quickly.
  21. On the eve of a brand new tomorrow! Congratulations!
  22. Good to hear you are doing well. I'm sure the elevated stats are nothing to worry about, but it's smart that they're erring on the side of caution and keeping you awhile longer to monitor them. Congrats!
  23. I agree. Wonderful sentiment. We're all proud of you!
  24. I like the way you think! ????
