The Doc popped my Port Cherry ROFLMFAO !!!! Good morning, well this other doctor got it in and did a good job. He asked me about the numbing stuff and I said NOPE! don't need another needle thank you very much :tired NOW !!! I feel like a bandster :guess Thanks for the good lucks everyone. Pat, I'm glad you got the car you like. I live in mine so why not get something your comfortable in. Needles don't bother me per say but when the doc wiggled the thing inside it made me sick to my stomach lol. No more am I allowing the one doctor to do it...ut uh. Cindy, I think your comment about people eating b/c they feel things are geared towards them is right. Not all folks but I'm sure some do have issues with it. Everyone is different. However I don't think thats why I over eat... I'm more your depressed, hold in feelings, bored, tired, happy, emotional type of eater and plus I just love to eat... I'm addicted. Betty, the doc did make me lift my legs (good thing I didn't fart, I was nervous) and do a crunch and he got the port... pop ! the sound was gross. ANNE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF is going on girlie? Welcome Shaquanna Where are you having the surgery? The first two days were painful to me and after that it just got better and better. The hardest part was staying on liquids for 3 weeks (2 of them clear liquids). We know exactly how you feel, you want it over with and the weight loss to start.. Hang in there !!!

I posted this on one of the duplicate threads..... Welome to bandland Roger :clock: Sounds normal to me, I'm still burping and farting and I'm 3 months out. Don't worry you'll feel better soon. I remember finally getting in the car on the 5th day doing some light shopping, I walked slow and was sore but it felt so good to get out. You'll feel better and better each day. Just make sure you take it slow, follow your doctors eating plan, heal and get your liquids in, don't get dehydrated. Go slow !!! <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->__________________

If you want pizza grab a weight watchers or south beach frozen, this way you won't feel left out. Baked chips, salsa can't hurt, or make yourself a nice taco salad w/some healthy veggies. Eat something before the party, this way you'll be less hungry when the food is out. But !!!! what about the left overs? that would be the worst part for me b/c if they are there the next day guess where they are going.... yep you got it. Give everything you can to your guests as they are leaving...this way there will be no temptation tomorrow. One day might not hurt but two will. Good luck but mostly.... HAVE FUN !!!!!!!

You mean the port is on your rib cage? Thats where mine is (thought it was between the boobs but its not LOL). I get the burps alot and every once in a while I'll hicup and yes, it hurts...but it doesn't happen enuf for me to worry about. Call your doc and ask. Good luck and welcome !!

Good Morning, The skys are blue and beautiful this morning, can't wait to go outside and enjoy the fresh air. Whats everyone doing today? Nothing much here, SOSDD. I was on the phone w/them crying and yelling all the time, if I didn't I would have missed my surgery date. I'm sorry !!!! But there is a reason why these things happen....
