Good Morning, Geeze it feels like I've been gone forever. Mandy good luck with your surgery Betty, golly I had no idea you had hurt your foot like that. I think you need to wear some steel boots b/c your poor feet are taking a beating lately. How are you feeling?? Kat... now why does your dh dislike...okay hate purple so much. I can understand about the hitch not matching the bike but why does he cringe when you wear purple? I love purple... my bedroom is lavender with cream trim, white doors and sage green rug. Shall I send him pictures HAHAhAHA .....Actually light blue is my favorite color then pink LOL How is your Darling Granddaughter??? is she feeling better? Cindy I know what you mean on getting a handle on what I am eating. No way do I want another fill... I just need to work at it at this point and I have no desire to stop eating the junk... OY VEY!!!! I'm doing better with my Water this week thats for sure, now I need to make healthy choices and STOP picking between meals. How's DD loving the summer break? Patty your day sounded like fun.... I got hypnotized YEARS ago for weight loss. After it was over I ran to burger king for a whopper... yeah it worked haaaaaaaaaaa lolol. My dd did it for smoking... he walked out of the building and lit up. What a waste of money. Glad your Disney trip was fun. Well nothing much is going on at my neck of the woods. Got the same email as you all from the Beanster. I'm glad she is ok. Its a beautiful weekend so far in Jersey....so we're gonna do some swimming and cough cough cleaning. How you doin? Good Morning, WOW alot to catch up with here LOL. Works been hairy to say the least...sosdd. I'm just gonna do some cleaning today, pool time and off to dinner with some friends Kat I'm so glad that precious bambino is feeling better and home. I would suspect her tummy is going to hurt for a few months. Stomach problems like that are tough. How's Rick today? Sherry what a relief to hear your feeling better. How much fill did you have before they took some out? you see thats exactly what I'm afraid of... getting to tight. How are you feeling? Dianne girl, I'm sorry you have to have surgery but I can't wait to hear that your legs are feeling better. My Dad had the same problem, he didn't have surgery but I remember his legs hurting so much from the veins. Do me a favor...after this surgery thats it !!!! no more for you missy...You've had enuf! Patty, listen..don't be discouraged over other people and how fast they lose weight. IMHO slow is safe, healthy and good. You are going in the right direction. Shoot, I haven't lost weight in MONTHS !!!! but thats my own fault...to many goodies ya know. I really feel that going slow with the fills and the weight loss is the safest way to go. Chrispy I'm so sorry to hear about your friend...how devistating Betty, Cindy, Pat, Darcy (Happy Birthday btw), Beanie , Mandy and the rest of you lovely ladies.... Have a WONDERFUL weekend.

I agree with the others here...give it a few days, you could be swollen. I can't eat pork either (steak is tough to eat too). I would suggest liquids as well for a few days. .

Dianne sweetie !! what sort of surgery are they going to do on your leg???? is it the area where the clots are starting (the vein?). Feel better honey and good luck with your new job on Monday...your gonna rock-em !!! .

OMG Kat whats left to say??? my heart sank reading your post. I don't know but can understand how heart breaking this must be and I'm so sorry you all have to go through this. You have every right to open your mouth at that hospital (patients rights ya know). When Kelsy is home, safe and sound....report thier ass's. You are all in my prayers . ~Happy 4th Of July ~ Hey there girlies, just popping in to say hello. Its a rainy day here in Jersey, no fireworks which is kinda good b/c I have to work tomorrow. Kat, how is your Granddaughter? poor baby is in my prayers. You know, when its an adult its tough but when its a little one it just changes things totally. Sherry love, what time do you eat dinner? I've noticed that if I eat after 7 pm, I get acid reflux.... I haven't had it in a few months but the other day I had a cup of coffee and went to bed, the coffee musta layed in the esphogus and the next morning (and during the night) OMG the burning. I haven't had coffee these past few days and it feels like its getting better but lordy, some times it can take weeks. I guess if there is food or things like coffee laying in the pouch OUCH!!! Feel better and let us know how you are feeling. COOL Tattoo Patty, Betty, Cindy Loo, Dianne, Mandy....how's it hanging ? Anyone hear from Beanie ?? I really miss her. I'm back I have such a headache.... I could feel it in my sleep and its coming from my neck..oy vey. Oh Betty for us to drain and fill our pool would be about $500.00 in Water, either by tanker truck or if we use town water it could cost more. I think thats great $50.00. Hope the rain STOPS. Yesterday was Mom's birthday so this morning we're gonna head on off to see her, she's not far. Clean, cook, pool time...the usual for today. How bout you guys?

I would think they would wait for the dirt to settle and then vacuum it but wtf do I know? lol I have no plans for the holiday, I'm working the day before it and day after so theres not much fun there ya know. My DH just had serious eye surgery this week so we are going to take it easy the next two weeks or at least until the stitches come out ick. Cindy I know what you mean about the makeup and curling iron. I look so different with mascara on and I feel better with it on too *cheezy grin* Mom's birthday is today but we're going there tomorrow to say HB. Other than that..... sosdd. This is normal as far as the procedure goes. He has Pterygium Pterygium He had stemcell graph put in his eye instead of using his own eye for the graph which is amazing. August/September he goes back for his other eye...poor thing, he was in so much pain yesterday. Anyway....off to the doc's. Catch you chickies all later. Oh and cindy, I am far from eating from a straw... I can eat so much it isn't funny, you'd fall over if you saw me eat. And trust me, I go very slow with fills, 1 every 6 months maybe is slow if ya ask me LOL. Okay kids, I gotta toodle. Have a groovy week, whats left of it. :confused:

When I was on Atkins, I used to take a frying pan (non stick) and sprinkle about 1/4 - 1/2 cup of grated parm cheese (any brand) Let it melt and brown (like a pancake), flip it over and do the other side. Take it out and let it sit on a plate to cool. It will harden and then you can break it apart. These were great to use as crutons in my salad. .

I love veggie burgers. My favorite are Morning Star Garden Burgers mmm mmmm only 100 calories (approx.) each. And if your in a hurry just nuke them. Can't wait to hear your review on this recipe. NJ

Happy Saturday Chickies Sorry I didn't get to post this morning, I had to drive DH to work so I was out of the house early and when I got back....yeah..you know what I'm gonna say next....it was cleaning. We bought a bigger fish tank for my two ginormous gold fish LOL they are loving it but what a job LOL. Then it was food shopping, eating dinner (a bologna sandwich OY) at 8 PM and I'm just sitting down now. Its very cool outside, very nice but the skeeters are still out...hate them freakin things. Dianne, feel better hon. Clots are scary to say the least. Patty I'm so sorry to hear about that little boy, my gosh. My prayers are with you all and his family. Good Morning and Happy Moanday Heading into work late today, I have to bring DD to her new school (well in september it will be new) so they can test her for 1st grade. She is very excited and nervous at the same time...new faces, new places. Did you all see that movie Norbit with Eddy Murphy? OMG is it funny. Sad in a way that they make fun of her b/c of her weight but they make fun of everything these days. I laughed so hard. The movie was stupid but funny (my kinda movies). Eddy played 3 characters, the chinese guy, norbit and his wife LOL, the makeup was amazing and how they made her body look real is mind boggling. Anyone hear from Beanie and Darcy ???? Mock Potato salad I figured since summer is upon us I'd post this recipe. My sister who HATES cauliflower loves this. This recipe can be made just like the way you make regular potato salad just using the cauliflower instead, so use what ever ingredients you want...enjoy !!!!! 1 large bag of frozen cauliflower cooked & let cool off (but don't cook to death making it mushy, thats why frozen works better than fresh..less mushy) Mayo (you use less b/c cauliflower is a little watery) Onion or Celery (to your taste) Hard Boiled Egg (optional) Salt and pepper (to your taste) Grape Tomatoes (optional) Bacon cooked and crumbled (optional) Dill (to your taste) Splash of Pickle juice (yes, pickle juice, it has all the seasoning in it you could ask for including vinegar, you could use sweet, or dill, or garlic, any kind works with any taste buds) Just add a little of each above until you get it to a potato salad consistency... NOT SOUPY !!!!! SEE !! ITS THAT EASY and a heck of a lot less calories then using regular potatoes. Happy BBQing __________________
