Good Morning, Boy am I beat...but the cleaning must go on (and laundry oy). We are taking DD fishing with her new Barbie fishing pole today up at the lake. While DH, DD and BIL are out on the lake, I'll be reading or scrap-booking in the car *evil grin* I'm just worn out and don't feel like riding the choppy Water in a fishing boat...ya know. Thats about it for my day... I still can't believe its September already.... I miss the summer and its not even officially gone yet ROFLMFAO. Whats the crew here doing today? Ohhh Jerry Lewis is on tomorrow....can't forget to watch him. I love that guy. .

Oh Betty, poison ivy sucks, my dh has it on he legs too. Be careful not to get it in your eyes....lordy be girly. Well the Water park was really cute, it was the right age for toddlers and kids up to about 8. I've never seen so many men with ta ta's bigger than mine LOLOL. Oh well, I better get to bed....my dogs are barking (feet that is lol). TTYT Toodles.

Bringing Binoculars? Well if you are, take a black makeup pencil (the greasier the pencil the better) and color the eye pieces of the binoculars (the black rubber pieces you press against your eyes)..... then tell him to look in the binoculars b/c there is something far off in the distance (like a naked lady) and when he says where, where, tell him to press the binoculars closer b/c she is right there (point her out).... when he removes the binoculars you had better have a camera ready b/c he is gonna have two dark circles around his eyes.....your gonna pee in your pants. Try it out first on your hand to make sure the makeup pencil comes off easy, like I said the greasier the makeup pencil the better....but any should work. NOW !!!! if you don't laugh at him, he'll walk around all day with two dark circles around his eyes and he won't know it. I did this to my sister years ago and I still laugh thinking about it today. .

My thread from yesterday ....... We are heading to a kiddy Water park today. Took DD to see Mr. Bean's Vacation yesterday..... strange but cute movie. I ate so much popcorn with butter my eyeballs were turning yellow... WHY do I do that? After this week (labor day) all the chit, garbage, junk in my house IS OUT !!!!! I just love it when I'm in a grocery store and some one (its usually a guy) looks at my stomach and lets me go first in line because they THINK I'm pregnant. I figure wth.... I might as well take advantage of it ROFLM-FAT-AO. *shrug*

I have BC/BS of NJ. They told me all the steps necessary to get approved and then gave me a hard time once I had done everything done. They pulled the crap...oh we didn't receive any paperwork from your surgeon. To make a long story short, I was on the phone every day with them until two days before my surgery date...thats when they approved it. I was on the phone in tears day after day. Talk about stress and hopefully they won't do that to you...but be ready. My advice to you is to call them, daily if you have to. Never assume things are going along smoothly. Get a diary and write down names, dates and times you spoke to each insurance person. Get a manager on the phone if you have to. They will tell you they will call you back, when in fact they don't. If you don't hear from them in 24 hours...YOU call them back. If they pull crap with you and they do have your records tell them you want a "48 hour expedited review" when you say this, they will have your answer in 2 days.... for some reason this is like a secret code ?? Don't rest until you have an approval number... or your surgeon has that approval number. Also make sure the hospital has that number.....just to make things smoother. I don't want to scare you because maybe things will go along smoother than when I had to deal with it....but at the same time, I wanted to make you aware of what they are capable of doing. Good Morning Ladies, Nice to see you all this morning. DD's party went well yesterday...glad its over. The water in the pool was 82 degrees but it felt like it was 70 LOL. But no complaints from the pnut-gallery. Kat, you rock !! I'm so glad you got to ut ummmm rub it a little in your ex-friends face...musta felt wonderful. Doesn't missy hubby stealer realize that what goes around comes around? Cindy........where are ya chickie? You to Beanster? Sherry, I saw Paula Dean make a recipe for mac and cheese on one of her shows....I think she used a crock pot but I remember drooling watching her eat it and I think she used sour cream as well...not sure. You might wanna check our her recipes on the food network. I love that Lady LOLOL. Patty thats so nice that you had lunch with the support group. I kinda wish I had one here. They do offer it at the hospital but its once a month on a Thursday at 6 pm (which I'd never make it there on time). Your doing great !!! I'm still overwhelmed with work and I'm still doing 80% of my old job as well *FAINT*. But things are okay. Aunt Flo finally visited me last night...its not a normal visit, spotty but shoot...after 2 months of not getting it wth. Nothing much is going on for the week, me like Cindy would really like to get below that 200 mark but wth? with the stress of my job lately, family issues and not getting my period for 2 months dieting just seems so overwhelming at the moment. I really need to start exercising..I know that will help but how can you exercise when your so darn tired all the time....vicious cycle I tell yah LOLOL. Toni, sorry I don't know of any doctors that will take you but thats not to say there aren't any. You might want to call your local hospitals and see if they know anyone who will be willing to do your after care. Its a good place to start.

Good Morning Ladies and boy is it beautiful here in NJ. The AC is off and the windows are open ahhhhhh beautiful... lovely day to clean but WTF....screw that. We are off to the Renaissance Fair in NY State today (its the last weekend) Welcome to the Sterling Renaissance Festival Its only a 25 minute drive from our house. Then its a late day birthday party for a 7 year old and then home to rest my dogs (feet). Mandy I don't know about you but watching HSM 2 was painful for me last night LOLOLO zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ~ My DD loved it but was so tired that she went to sleep right after and missed the Hanna Montana show...which I'm sure they will repeat all weekend long lolol. That boy in HSM2 is in Hairspray.... If I were 10 years old, I' would have a crush on him too, he is so cute. Well goils, I gotta get ready, we're leaving in 1 hour and I have to throw in a load of laundry b/4 I go as well as paint my eyes TTYL and have a Blessed Saturday.

My DD just had her 2nd pox shot back in June. Did the doctor warn you that they could get a fever in a few weeks and break out in what looks like a rash? if not, just beware that it can happen. My dd had a fever for 2 days but no rash about 3 - 4 weeks after her shot. Betty....staying cool? tomorrow its going to be a high of 75 but its going to heat up again on Monday....sheesh we missed alot of the summer. How's work? Well girls I gotta go. We celebrated at work for 3 days in a row...not good considering it was cake and ice cream brought in by different people LOL Tonight is a friends 40th birthday party carribean style. I made 4 batches of spinach dip for this party and just the thought of eating it (although its so yummy) gives me gas LOLO pffffffffft. Dat's alotta scallions. Good morning everyone, Last night was fun, we swam in the pool until about 10 PM. Would have been there longer if it wasn't for that nasty skunk that sprayed near our home LOLOL the sky was awesome, the stars were insanely bright and beautiful and the Water was around 88 degrees. I'm tired today lol. Today I'll be folding lotza laundry and maybe I'll even sneak in a movie. We have the old movie Rat Pack with Frankie, Sammy and others nuthin like the old stuff I tell yah. Good Morning Ladies, Its so good to come in here and see you all. Work has been insane but what else is new eh. My dogs are barking woof ~ (that means my feet hurt). We walked for 4 hours yesterday at the NJ State Fair in this blistering 100 degree heat. One good thing is, when its that hot, none of that fair food tempts me. The only thing I had was a fruit smoothie. DH on the other hand had 2 funnel cakes, a HUGE philly cheese steak, 3 fruit smoothies, french fries, fudge and an ice cream...... and he doesn't have an ounce of fat on his body to lose, go figure. What amazes me is with the heat, he didn't get sick. Anyway we did have a good time LOL. They also had lots of farm animals there......... I didn't know Ox's were bulls with their hay hay's cut off. Patty your Fiesta sounds WONDERFUL, thats something I would really enjoy and 5 whoppin days of it...geepers. How are you doing darling with the band? Mandy I'm so glad you are home and your on your way to feeling better. I also have a huge incision across my ab's (from having my appendix out...no laproscopic for this chick OY). Its like from one side of my hips to the other. The only advice I can give you is be very very careful not to lift or do to much to soon or you will develop scar tissue that could wrap around your intestins (like I have)...it is VERY VERY painful. I was in the hospital for 10 days...then the doc told me no laundry, nothing for 8 weeks.......did I listen... NOOOOOO, so now I'm paying for it. Be careful and baby yourself...really baby yourself. Darcy......... I MISS YOU !!!! I'm going back to read July's thread but I see your moving into the cabin? Way to cool. How are you? Kat wish Rick a Happy Belated Birthday for me and I'm glad he is doing better. I can only imagine his frustrations but its nice he got another birthday to Celebrate .... how are your new chit kickers and how is the baby girl doing? Cindy I'm jealous, an entire day to pamper yourself...lucky duck. What concert are you going to see? What are your plans for the coming school year, are you volunteering there? Kat and her chit kickin boots whooot I'm so glad baby girl is feeling better, and I agree with you, I love the 2's. I've always said I've never seen a terrible 2...its usually when they hit 3 or 4. We have a helmet law here in Jersey as well for kids. They have to wear them up to the age of 14. You will see most adults wearing them here b/c its just a good safety thing. You might want to shop on line for a good helmet for her...they sell kiddie sizes at amazon.com or they should be in your local toys r us. They have really cute ones that look like motor cycle helmets cept these have Disney princesses on them LOL. My DD has a tricycle and she does not go on it without her's. Cindy loo, sounds like you had a fun day finding all your goodies Hey.... I'm not dedicated...not yet.... Easy peasy is what I like My boss has me traveling to Maryland in September ICK!!!! I hate traveling but there's nothing I can do about it. Janet how are you feeling? I am now starting to get it (acid reflux) and I decided to treat it myself (for now). About two weeks ago I went to bed right after having a cup of coffee and I woke up with such a burning sensation. Some days its not bad and some days its on fire. That'll teach me to drink coffee (or anything) and go to sleep right away. I need to get back to the band rules. Hope the prilosec (sp?) helps. If not its to the docs for me.

Its two weeks now and its not going away. I decided to take some prilosec and see what happens... OYVEY!!! Some days its good and others it burns all day long WTF? I'm also taking maalox (sp?) Maybe I need to have a soft/liquid diet for a few days as well... can't hurt with the wl LOL. NO WAY am I going for another fill NOPE NODDA CAN'T MAKE ME...NOPE UT UH. Anyway.... went food shopping this morning at 7 AM so thats done, made some tuna salad for the week and now I could use a nap LOL. How are all you other girlies doing? .
