Oh Betty, I'm so sorry DH lost his job, that really sucks big moose kaka. Patty is right, take a day to breath (Patty you are so spiritual...*hugs*). Wish I could give you a hug and we could have tea (okay beer) together We're here for you if you need an ear. Patty have a great trip and stay cool while packing. Shopping at Kohls...oh have a good time I agree with you about Darcy... But I wish she could see herself as we see her, beautiful and perfect the way she is. I think the same thing when the scale is not moving (and I'm eating crap) but listen... if we can lose 10 lbs a year with the band, we are sooo much better off than if we didn't have it and we kept gaining 10 lbs a year. I think the folks that are losing fast are amazing and I wish I was like them, but I'm not. I'm not going to obsess over how slow I am losing and I'm not going to compair myself to them, its only gonna mentally wear me down if I do and that will make me depressed and guess what happens after that...yep, I'll eat more if I'm depressed. So every week, I just try to make healthier choices and if I have some cake or chips... I'm not going to beat myself up, I'm going to enjoy life. Lets just get healthy instead of getting skinny.... deal? *F* the scale, lets make better food choices and move our bods a little more. Persistance wins the race not perfection Luv yah. Hi Kids, I will do personals tomorrow promise Update: Jess is out of surgery, they were only able to remove part of the tumors that are in her throat but they did open her airways. The doctor says it takes a few WEEKS !!! yes I said weeks to get the results back so we have to sit and wait. She needs to go back in a few months for more surgery. Thanks for your prayers everyone We got to talk to her for a few seconds.... she whispered that she wanted me to take her shopping LOL, what a little girl lol

I would love to ride my bike more than I do. The one thing that stops me is the seat... it is soooooooooo uncomfortable. Its a good bike $$$$ the seat is on springs like and it is cushiony but OUCH! still hurts. Congrats on finding your love again :eek:

What was the silliest gift you ever got for Christmas? My DH got me a remote controlled fart machine. He put it in a little box, then a bigger one and then a bigger one.... (here I was thinking DIAMONDS!) ROFL. Every time I opened a box he would hit the remote and the dogs head would tilt...it was so funny.

Mo, I'm not on any medications. My doctor wanted to give me shots in my spine but I refused. I will bear the pain for as long as I can. I do have to say I have more good days now than bad with the weight loss but when my back acts up LORDY~ its a chore just to get to work and lets not even mention getting DD ready and off to daycare. I also have arthritis in my knees and they hurt quite often. I can tell its getting worse because I used to be able to clean my house in one day, now I get 2 rooms clean at the most and I'm sore & tired. Eileen

I love morningstar veggie burgers, they are awesome on the grill (they get crispy on the outside mmmmmm). The drinkable yogurt (Danimals, its the kids one 70 calories) I have one on my way to work to curb the tummy. BBQ flavor soy chips. Watermellon Turkey breakfast sausage, 3 links 120 calories (can't remember brand name)

I can eat regular pizza just as long as I go slooooow. Before my last fill I could eat it w/no problem whatsoever...bagels too.

I'm 5'10" my doc says I should weigh around 170 and thats where I'd like to be. I am not big boned at all, more like medium (my ring size is a 5 - 6). Everyone is different, my DH and his brother are both the same height but my BIL is 180 lbs and looks good at that. 180 lbs on my DH would make him over weight... different structures thats for sure.

I LUV stirfry's but always to lazy to make them LOL.
