I was wondering if your sex life has changed since getting the band? Mine was lousy to begin with, as I was not comfotable with old body. So I became used to no sex which drove me crazy, but just got used to it. (sadly). Then I had the surgery last year, I have dropped about 80 lbs and now I want to show off my new figure. My sex drive has increased and feel like a teenager again. Has anyone else had a increase in libido? If so what are you doing about it? :cool:

Hi I am 50 but look and act about 38. So I feel more comfortable with ladies in their 30's & 40's. Some people look and act their age some do not! So whatever happens , happens. Age is not important, Its your attitude, your lifestyle, and your sex drive. :eyebrows:

Hello, I have been married 11 years and have never cheated. Our sex life has always been bad anyway,but I tried to not concentrate on that. When I decided to have the band surgery, My wife said, Oh what are you going to do, Loose all your weight and go find someone else? I did not respond, as I didn't want to go there. During this journey of the band the past year or so, I received little to no support from her,and sex is a non factor. I do not want a divorce as a child is involved and I would not want to ever spend a day without him. So cheating has crossed my mind, After this long journey with the band with no love or support it does sound good.

Hi all, Has anyone else noticed that your sex drive has really increased since loosing a lot of weight? I don't think it's just having more confidence in yourself, or is it? I used to want it and think about it once in while, but lately I think about it every day. Someone told me it may be due to fact that males now have more to use now, since that the tummy has gone down? What do you think? :eyebrows:

I have watched all seasons of BB. This year it is so hard to get behind and root for anyone. Most of them are sick people with major problems. What I would like to see is Will come back in the house and turn the whole place upside down!

It's been 7 weeks since my last fill. It was my 4th fill in a year. All of a sudden I feel very tight, I still get hungry, but when I eat I get full after a few bites. Is this the sweet spot I have heard about?

Yes, It was nice meeting you also. Look at all the Soups on the table, I bet the waitress thought she was serving a large group with lots of food and a big tip! LOL I hope next time we have a place where it would be better for conversation,and perhaps a format where each person could speak on what has been going well,and what has not. Then the group could comment on it. I do feel support is the key to success.

I plan on being there, It should be fun and informative. I currentley belong to the Scripps group in La Jolla, But there support group meetings once a month do not discuss the matters that I feel need to be addressed. Looking forward to meeting everyone, I hope I am not the only Male there!

I gave up soda during my liquid diet phase last summer. I do take a sip once in a while as I miss the taste. I did drink some down a few months back,and it was NOT WORTH THE PAIN. So now its just crystal light and sugar free Kool aid. So if I must have some, just a couple swallows,and that's it! Anybody try Champagne yet?

O.K ladies enough about size.........Another cool thing about dropping the pounds is, You get increased LIBIDO !

Hello Orange County Banders, I live here in South County, My Dr. Sent me to Scripps in la Jolla for my surgery last July, Down about 70 lbs so far. I would like to join the group.

I am not sure about feet and hands, But I can say that the more I loose, the longer it gets!

Hello, I had my surgery on July 12th and lost about 15 lbs since the surgery, 45 lbs total counting pre surgery diet. When I started eating regular foods, Like you, The weight loss has stopped, I can eat anything I want, but only about half the quanity as before surgery. My first fill will be this Wednesday 9/6/06 I hope to get some restriction then, and the weight starts dropping again.
