my doc said if i feel nauseous or anything after this fill to call so they can take some out...i'm at 9cc's in my realize band....so....should i wait to see how today goes or call now? i'm feeling nauseous now and i never have after a fill before. i'm just sitting here drinking iced tea. thanks!

hey all....just had my 5 month post op weigh in. i've lost 77 lbs now, but i cried. i'm being too hard on myself and i logically know that, so why cant i stop?! thats just not good enough for me!! so, i got another fill too, and now i have 9 cc's. i think i need to go to support groups again....ok, thanks for listening!

i was banded in march and have lost 74 lbs! i'm half way done. my briatric center even gave me a pin for my accomplishment! yea!

just wanted to shout from the rooftops that i'm down 50 lbs as of yesterday! i got 2 more cc's put in so now i'm at 6. hopefully i'm getting close to my sweet spot!

what does it feel like if u the band slipped? how do u know if it happened?

hey all! I was banded by blackstone in scottsdale, but i live in mesa, az. i love it so far. i'm about 2 months out now. i have my second fill on the 27th of this month. i'm at 4cc's and i'v elost 26 lbs so far as of last month, so we'll see.

Just wanted all my bandster buddies to know that I'm getting married next month on the 14th! We are so excited! We are doing the 29 day countdown! Yea me! I'll post pics soon!

i am 3 weeks out and my restriction is gone!! i am stil eating within my 20 min, not eating anything i shouldn't, but its the most i've eaten since the surgery. what can i do until my 1st fil on the 25th of this month? thanks!

im soo nervous! my surgery is finally here! friday morning! this is it! tomorrow is clear liquids and bowel prep day (eeeww) . wish me luck!

i just got my pre-op packet in the mail. i have like 2 or 3 pre-op appts before the surgery on march 14th. but thats ok.....i have a date. found out i have to be weighed again 9 days before the surgery....aaahhhh! i have gained 6 lbs in january in my long "celebration"

i am having the band on march 14th and they already have my 1st fill scheduled for april 25th. i should only expect a little bit right?? and any advice for a 1st timer?

it should just be bloodwork. other tests might come later.

is it up to me or my insurance whether i have my surgery outpatient or an overnight stay?

am i right in thinking the only difference betwen the allergen band and the realize is the way its sutured in there? is there any other difference?
