  1. I bring cheese sticks, diced chicken, a side salad, Greek yogurt, lots of bottled water, carrots and hummus, protein bars and a protein drink. I'm a nurse and I also work 7a-7p 3-4x's a week. I try to pack at least 3 meals and a few snacks when I go to work.
  2. Great for you! Your pics are looking great!
  3. This is the Roman numeral 4 that I got with my four best friends from high school.
  4. Congrats and Good Luck!!!
  5. Are you not allowed to do light cardio? Like walking or jogging!
  6. I am a Registered Nurse. I was back to work in 2 weeks with a restriction of not lifting anything above 15 lbs, I was on that restriction for 3 weeks.
  7. I agree! I would go back to puréed foods for a week then try soft foods again. If that still doesn't work see your surgeon. Also how fast are you eating soft foods and are you drinking and eating together. I used to throw up after eating chicken breast for some reason, two or three bites and it would come right back up.
  8. If you're a beginner at weight training and can afford it, definitely get a gym membership and personal trainer. I swear by mine! Also, you can hurt yourself lifting if you're not sure of what you are doing. I promise it's worth it!
  9. Oh girl trust me he's noticed the new you. He's just working on a new approach. He knows how to flirt with the overweight girl especially since you've been overweight the entire time he's known you. But the thinner sexier girl who's eventually going to find a man hotter than her ex-husband lol. Well that girl needs a different approach. Have fun driving him crazy!!!
  10. Water, Water, Water!!! I went 2 weeks post-op without a bowel movement and my doctor said drink all your water (which I wasn't ????). And the next day I made it a priority to drink all my water, after that I had the best poop of my life. Lol
  11. I love Unjury. It's the only protein shake I actually like. Try a few sample packs first because some people buy a bunch of their products then don't really care for them. I think they're delicious though.
  12. This weeks weight 245.2
  13. Why don't you try to walk before or after you get home from work 2-4 times a week. If it's cold just bundle up and get out there. Doing anything is better than nothing!
  14. Today's weight: 248.7
  15. Current weight: 253.2 Goal weight: 230 Also is it okay if I post my weight every other week. I don't like to weigh myself every week because I get discouraged easily.
  16. I'm not sure if it's because we're possibly in different states but I have bcbs federal and only needed 3 month diet plan. I didn't even need to submit my weight record in the last 2 yrs and my surgery was October 15th. Call your insurance company to clarify the requirements. I lived on the phone with my insurance company before surgery. Good Luck!!!
  17. I would love to do this!
  18. Hey everybody! Two days post-op this morning. And having some serious abdominal pain. ???????? The morphine pca pump is helping but then the morphine gives me a headache and makes me nauseous! Trying to ride out the storm until sunshine comes!!! Hope everyone else is doing well.
